  3. Looks nice weather for a good walk out that. I spy 'Halls fell ridge' in the back there. I don't think it's too technical in normal conditions but I should imagine it's a decent test when covered in snow inside ice! I'm pretty sure some unfortunate fella fell off sharp edge just along the side of Blencather over the hollidays. Hope you enjoy your stay away mate!
  4. So sorry to hear this mate. I'll be thinking about you today pal. I hope the day goes as well as it can. I'm sure he'll be looking down on his family and friends he's left behind.. so proud of you all. All the best mate..
  5. I bet that would do 5 minutes behind a long ear.. then blow it up! Yes, makes obvious sense mate.. why risk lives and that..
  6. Good point! Those drones are a game changer in the battle field. Did you see the stricken soldier having a fag and a scroll on the THL whilst waiting for assistance have a grenade dropped on him and he threw it away?! Cool as f**k..
  7. This gives you a good idea of the scale of things mate 1.15 minutes in just for a quick example. Cracking channel with some good footage, well worth a skip through. I think he used to be on here at some point!!
  8. Is this legitimate anyone?? Crazy if so. 3.8 km / 2.3 miles!! I'm not sure that 9 seconds travel time is true though! I think a 177 Webley Mozzie would get there in that time!!
  9. Having owned a GSP I'm biased to say go down the pointer route. Would be interesting to see their progres!!
  10. Christmas is done for me this year. Just put the tree away back in the loft..

  15. I would have found that pub out if I'd have known mate!! We ate at the, I'm probably wrong here, but the prince of Wales pub. Up a lovely little side street. Food was utterly crap I'm sorry to say!! Pub down there somewhere! But yes mate.. it's absolutely great countryside around then. Still a real taste of old England!!
  16. The Mrs and girls aren't very keen on walking, so i drove 3/4 of the way up to the highest carpark. The whole walk was only 1.4 miles including mincing about on the top! They got rewarded big time once we broke through the clag onto the top. It's only a hill really, but gave the feel of being on a mountain top!
  17. Malvern hills on Saturday. Upto Worcestershire beacon.. the highest point in Worcestershire. Cloud inversion and a Broken Spetre too!
  18. Is that the general mix down there these days Mac?? I enjoyed my day in Windsor as a tourist. Walk up the long walk is it and boat trip westwards down the Thames. Mrs and daughter..

  20. Cheers mate!! Interesting that is! Definitely something different. I'm looking forward to seeing him go through Sonning if he films that bit. George Clooney has a place on the river there. Think he had trouble with it flooding too when he first got it. Also Glen Hoddle and Theresa May live there. And Marlow further along is a lovely stretch of the Thames. I've actually just watched most of that video sat out the Modle chippy whilst our Doris has gone in!! Lol..
