  1. I tapped out mate and had the pipes cut after I'd had my two daughters. I was happy with my little family of 4 set-up even though my Mrs tried to talk me out of it. I was 28 and 31 when they were born and had the snip at 36 I think I was. I'll have to wait and see if I get any grandkids I suppose!
  2. Ahh.. bless him mate! Yes, let him enjoy himself and see where it takes him!! When I was really young and nieve.. I just assumed I'd always have a son, and my thoughts where around lurchers and football, in that order. But I've ended up with two daughters!! .. and it's all hair straighteners and makeup!! Lol..
  3. A very good mate of mine who lives just around the corner from me has his lad there too pal and he says exactly the same! Sounds like a full time job with the places they go with him but get to do some really good behind the scene things at the grounds and meet alot of players.
  4. Cheers mate! I've just took a screenshot of that.. not got the best memory!! Lol..
  5. Had a unplanned last minute camp on Kinder last night at the Woolpacks area. Really bloody hard walk up with the big pack on. Got asked by buss full of Chinese looking young people how far back to Edale and which way to get there! Told them exactly 2.8 miles as i was tracking my route out from there and pointed them in the right direction. Found a nice little spot overlooking Jacobs ladder. Sun came out for the last half hour before disappearing and them the temperature plummeted big time. Cracking morning though listening to the Cerlews and a Cookoo. Had a Kestral buzzing around me too. Packe
  6. Is that where the garden centre is mate? I would mind a walk around there next time we visit. Make it more of a day out type thing.
  7. Hard to understand how some folk appreciate being in the outdoors yet have no respect for it! I've been around some local pits tips here with my old man's Twatterdale whilst he's been to see Leeds lose yet again! Just a year old and starting to mature and using his nose quite well to be fair. Little cnut at times though and he just wants you to beat him up!! Was from up your way mate, Conisbrough I think.
  8. It's pissing it down here mate and we're all depressed as f@@k!!
  9. Better to stay at Lytham and shoot in for a quick day mission with the kids to tick the box I've found.
  10. Wtf Mac! Does your phone actually keep up with what continent your on!! Lol..
  11. God knows how I'm getting these.. but I'm very tempted!! What's everyone else getting??
  12. He's done very nicely off the back of getting utterly ballbagged and talking total shite!! Found an unexploited corner of the YouTube wild camping thing.. done his own unique out of the box take on it and he's killing it!! Fair play to him!!
  13. Yes, I'd recommend Strava. I've been using it for years but they've took away a lot of the features that made it good inorder to get people pay the subscription fees and get access to the all the features again! I was all free back in the day when it first came out!! I've just had a dig around at my biking and running stats that are recorded on the app. Interesting.. I've never seen them listed like that before!! My running stuff. Never really been a runner! My biking stats! Never really been a biker either but some half decent numbers I'd say..
  14. Cheers very much mate... top man, really appreciate that! Yes.. my eldest daughter is at Lincoln Uni and she's just sent me these 2 pics through. She knows me well!! Lol..
  15. Ah yes mate.. makes sense now I know you where on the west side of the estuary! We had a good poke about around where you are.. popped in at the farm shop at Powderham.. plenty of Fallow in the grounds there! It's a lovely area tucked out of the way down there. We stayed on the coast just around from Exmouth. Did the little boat trip from Topsham where the antiques place is back down to Exmouth then caught the train back up to Topsham. I remember seeing the boat reck in your pic!! I didn't take any pics myself as it was a bloody grim day! The rain just about held off!! Lol! I actually did thin
  16. Is that the rive Exe mate by any chance? If it is we were down there a few weeks back.
  17. A bit later here but I backed Kitty's Light back in November and took 25's on it. Little story behind it. We were on holiday in Wales back in October and had a ride out one day and we pulled down a little lane to look at some castles ruins. As we were getting out of the car load of what were obviously race horses went past us and waded through the river that ran past the castle. I had a quick Google and the trainer Christian Williams has his stable along side the little lane down to the castle ruins. Anyway, I got Googling and his stable star Kitty's light was being targeted for the National t
  18. No worries mate! I did look for the full episode on YouTube to include a link in my reply but I could only find little snippets of the interview. Anyway.. I've found the full thing on my second attempt!! Lol.. Yes.. I agree, very much like rag and bone man with that distinct voice!!
  19. Joe Rogan had him on his podcast last year mate. Was very interesting hearing his story and his rise to fame. I'd not heard of him until then!.
  20. Cracking pics there mate! It's some place isn't it. The scale of the mountains still always does it for me even after year's of visiting! I was up there a couple of week ago for walk out with my sister who's lives up there. She's 49 and a still a full on space cadet!! Lol.. Sorry.. put this one up before on here somewhere. Can't help but keep an eye out for camp spots!
  21. I should imagine that's a handy bit of kit for spotting roosting birds mate. Handy for sorting a Magpie problem out amongst other numerous things!
  22. Looks proper nice that mate! I'll put that on the back burner for when I'm after a little getaway with just our Doris.
  23. Looks the bizz that mate! Do you use any particular charcoal?? I've mostly used aldi/ wilko bricketts in the past on the cheapo basic no frills bbq. Decent heat and burn time once they're fully ashed over. Found lump wood lights easier.. and you can cook on it sooner.. it gets hotter too but doesn't last as long as the bricketts. What's your preference pal?? Also apparently the cheap stuff is full of crap allegedly. Too late for me.. the damage is already done!! Lol..
  24. Ahh! Lovely mate! We were looking to get somewhere for a Monday to Friday in the Bath to Bristol area but was struggling to find something so now we're heading down to Devon. We packed our daughter back off to Lincoln Uni today on the train but she's only going to do her couple of shifts behind the bar where she works then she's heading back home on Sunday. Yep.. I won't argue ..God's own county as they say. Has a bit of everything!!
