  3. sure i remember an advert in E.D.R.D for 3/4 grey 1/4 spaniel, good few years ago though, must be some out there somewhere??
  4. my self taught method through trial and error, small cuts, let the dog lick and a blast of purple sprayl, larger cuts, let the dog have a good old lick after washing it out and trimming the fur away, constant licking day in day out really slows down the scabbing up process, so use a "lampshade" for a week or so whilst applying Cut Heal liquid wound care twice a day. found doing this speeds up the healing by about half! anything bigger and its down to the vets for some good old stiches or staples, treat your dogs right and get them back out a.s.a.p oh yes, if going to the vets

  7. i am a professional bush rummager, an addict if you like, for some reason im just drawn to bushes, get in there, have a good old rummage ( long as she dont object) !! dont mind a dabble on the... errr... stubble either.. with the dogs of course.

  11. just been away for the week in cornwall,, was walking the dogs in a remotish field when i was joined by an unaccupanied dog, choc brown, deff a spaniel type, later bumped into the owner of this hound, she said he was a FIELD SPANIEL, rare as rocking horse...... only 3 DOGS IN THE COUNTRY!!! and only ever 1 PUP PER LITTER !!!!! can anybody clarify this, think she had been fobbed off, drinking, or just talking bollox !!!

  20. got my stricker 170 from johnsons fieldsports, it let me down first night out with it had to do an hours round trip for another lamp! not impressed!! returned it, in person, back to johnsons, and he fixed it (wireing) there and then, no charge, always found him to be a sound chap no probs since, touch wood!!!
  21. both are bitches, the lurcher is salukie/grey x bull/grey on both sides of the breeding, of varying percentages, 24 1/2 inc, 52lb ish, the german shorthaird pointer has a few f.t cahapions in her ped, is black and white, 24 inc, also about same weight as the lurcher, but thicker boned, will sort some pics soon as i get my head round it, thanks

Been viewing this site for a while now, only just been able to register because of p.c probs! bit of a dinosaur on the p.c, so please go easy on me! own a lurcher and g.s.p, both 4yrs old. looking forward to chatting to some like minded folk, which will be a very welcome change! cheers, no sheep,, erm i mean sleep until september!!!
