One of the best ways to get started is to book some hind stalking in the Highlands and get a few days out with a stalker on the hill , you will see a lot of deer and get a good introduction on everything from selection to larder work if the boys think you're keen they will take time to show you the job they do. In my opinion a lot of people get their passion for deer stalking this way..
Hi,
The Shockley's are well known on the American hunting scene, you will find them both on Facebook and the father Jim makes a lot of really good hunting TV and hunts all over the world including the UK.
Hello,
New to this site and have enjoyed having a read through some of the posts. I'm a fully time Head stalker/Gamekeeper on the west coast of Scotland and enjoy a range of sport from bow hunting right through to terrier work and I'm lucky enough to hunt in many parts of world on a regular basis. I keep a fair collection of working dogs including a Bavarian Mountain Hound and an old type Russell.
