hi all
im considering chucking a bag of mustard or turnip seed around and in one of my pheasant pens because it feels a bit empty and lacking ground cover at the moment, only the second year it been used just gone. just wondering if anyone else has ever done this.
thanks
Wish i had found out before i arranged the demo, i had to get some more mounts as the ones i had were too low, just measure mine now and id say you want at least a 10mm gap from your barrel to the bottom of your scope.
Hi all
Has any one got any blue prints or pictures of some wild duck feeders they use. i have a few ponds on the shoot i keeper which are too far to feed on a daily or weekly basis and could do with sticking some barrel feeders on them and leaving them for a few weeks at a time, only problem is i dont know the best way for the ducks to get at the feed, ive seen some posts say spring feeders like for pheasants work fine (which i have plenty off) so just wondering if any one else has experience or advice?
any helps appreciated
Thanks
Chris
Hi Chaps
I've just come to the end of a demo week of a pulsar forward dfa75 and am very impressed with the quality of this night vision attachment.
My only query is actually how good are they, has anyone out there had experience with them in the field (more than me) and are they worth the money? am i better purchasing something else for less etc. I have a fairly new vortex viper scope on my 223 which is pushing me more towards the dfa75 over a nv scope. Also if i do end up getting the dfa75 i am going to have to get a better ir illumination than the one supplied so can anyone suggest a go
Hi everyone, just found this forum and joined up today, really impressed with what I've seen so far. Dairy farmer and part time game keeper here form Cheshire, look forward to posting more and getting some great advice.
