Indian/Asian food has come a loooooong way since the late 1960's........my first venture into Indian food was via my mum....we had relations that travelled the world and brought back all sorts of spices and paste's......her curries were supreme..........
that was the 1960's...........other peoples venture into foreign food was in a box from Birds Eye ...
i nearly lost a testicle....when you take the beetles out of the pot you put em under a wet sack....then when you have shot your string you sit down with your plastic apron and rubber band the big claw to stop them hurting each other when you put them in the keep chest.....my apron had a slit in from banjoing skate and the bloody great lobby stuck its claw thro the slit and bit down hard on the skin under my jeans on my inner thigh just below my meat and 2 vedge........i have never suffered pain like it.....the lobster claw dosnt stop until its fully closed..........
in my past youff i worked a season on a lobster boat in N Wales....the undersize lobsters went into a metal bucket on a gas burner....and when cooked we shelled them out wrapped them in brown bread an butter with pepper and vinegar...for breakfast......yum
