...I've joined this forum because last week we lost our beloved Deerhound at only 4 years old. She had peritonitis following a ruptured ulcer. It was all very sudden and completely unexpected - she had been tearing round our land only the day before. I'm desperate to replace her but this incident has knocked my confidence in the breed.
