    Cheers lads he was one of the pups that lifelong cumbrian had up for a friend. They were pretty local just 30 mins down the road. A really good guy to deal with and they were very well looked after. The pup hasnt a shy bone in his body.

    Picked up my whippet pup last night, chuffed to bits with him. Managed to get with in 100m of the house before he spewed up all over the van as the missus insisted on having him in the front on her knee for the ride home.

    I had a weekend job working on a trout farm. Packing trout and filleting smoked trout to go to the hotels on wet days witch here is more often than not i would be fixing nets or taking the bosses dogs for a walk so it wasnt a bad job at all. I would get my orders in the morning and then just left to my devices for the rest of the day. Before that job i had 2 others that my mum got me at hotels. It involved cleaning rooms and making beds. Needless to say both were quit after the 1st day as that was not for me, Not long after that i got the job at the trout farm so it worked out pretty well

    my aunty has one they arent a huge boot it depends if your lurchers are whippet x's or deerhound x's.

    same mate take the dog for a wander round... it's never really that big Ye its not a bad day though ive been a couple times. Its a bonny place theres some nice walks around there.

    and pick there runs, when getting tired , or there quarry , they ok when things are going ok easy runs, etc . i know few on here will say well my never did that, well my 4 did, its in there gens to use there brains , they are a thinking type dog, so long term they will call the shots Bryn my 1x collie x grey as always been like that, ok never stalked a rabbit, but will only run what he wants + when he wants. Now Buck my 1x alsatian x grey differnt type dog, he will do anything 1st, even tried or quarry, will tackle anything different mind set to collie. like been said drop gs

    great part of the west coast enjoy mate we campsite on Gairloch back of the pud good we site great fishing in that area all the we hill lochs mind skin so soft from Avon for the midges good lucknTold the Mrs to order some,,,,does really work? We used to go up there when I was a nipper,,and I remember using somthing called autan,,,I think it's called,,this was 70-,, but I still used to get bit Grab a few hand fulls of bog mertle that works a treat for midges imo.

    50p a day per sheep? You want to expand your flock into Gloucestershire BlackDog? For that price, I will even provide all the shepherding for you as well, although you must pay for drugs etc. Haha i dont think so im just guesstimating that kent land is a lot more expensive than the land i have lol and thats what my grandad got from some hobbie farmers a few years ago.

    How many acres is the land you have been offered? Is it well fenced an water supply with it? Is it rough ground or decent grass grazing? All these things will play a part in the price you pay. A rough guide you will be looking to pay around 50p a day per sheep (will be diffrent everywere).

    Price will differ on were abouts in the country you are and the type of land it is. And what sort of acerage is it...? What type of sheep are you wanting to stock it with?

    No one could replace attenborough. He can make anything sound intresting. he was on the radio a few months ago and they got him to read the most unintresting things like a tv manuel and you still hold on to every word he said.
