  1. . http://www.bushwear.co.uk/product/new-ghost-fox-snare-and-tealer hope the link works this is what ive bought as soon as i sort these pics out ill post them
  2. so tpot are you saying that what ive bought off bushwear are not ghost snares? im trying to put pics up but im struggling
  3. What length of tealer is that tpot ? as the one that ive got is only fifteen and a half inches long, yours by your own tape is 19 inches long and thats with a bit in the ground so it must be a twenty inch tealer also you have a different lock on, yours is a glenn waters lock and the biggest loop i can get is 9 inches so yeah you can set that snare 10 inches get one from Bushwear and try it
  4. Hi venum the locks not bad reminds me of one I used when I was a teenager it's nice and fast my only other criticism is that the biggest loop you can make with it is 9 inches which in my opinion is a bit neat I like at least a 10 inch loop 10 inches high all in all good idea just poorly put together
  5. update I've cut the tealers off and added a new one 2 inches longer it now sits exactly how I want it, they must have made a mistake when they made them up and made them too short, all they would have caught in my opinion would have been cubs if you were lucky or Badgers going down the tramline if your not , Shame really as they are a really fast running snare Thanks everyone for your input Volpe
  6. Have you had the same snares ? and the same problem ?
  7. see what your saying but it is loaded and has a nice round loop but it still wont get to the 10 inch minimum i usually set them in a open run
  8. sorry for the slow reply s but im still being checked by the moderators
  9. Theres nothing to bend up ill try and get some pics up over the weekend of it in the ground in the mean time ill put a pic up off there website so you can see the top of the tealer
  10. Yeah I suppose I could replace the tealers its just a pain to take them apart and make a longer tealer i might as well have had a go at making it from scratch myself.( now theres a idea)
  11. funny that thats exactly what mine said to me. im new here too hello and welcome
  12. yeah if its a folder id be iterested but as said dont think baikals are if its a folder id be interested in it im not far from you either
  13. hi guys i bought some snares off a well know internet shop which were advertised as fox ghost snares with the tealer already built in my problem is when you set them I can only get the bottom of the loop 7-8 inches off the ground and that's on fairly solid ground don't know what it would be like in soft ground as i would have to push the tealer in even further,(this is on a open run through the middle of a field) have the company made these with too short a tealer or am i a complete idiot and setting theses wrong and there's a trick to this cheers Volpe
