    the whole thing about run with yous is staying out cover...the thing about irish dogs is he going were ever the hare going I totally agree I hate to see a dog stop at cover had a couple in my time but I like to see my dog box them in run alongside the cover push them back out really drill them I like to see a strike not a pick up in cover although they all count any way thought Irish coursing was scored on bends an the hare usually gets away anyway

    I've always found if I'm running short fields not real paddocks ie somewhere like crondoll Bentley Alton you need bursting pace the greyhound or first cross or3/4 greyhound if I'm in Clayton Colchester Cambridge Felixstowe then I like to put a straight saluki bitch to a well bred lurcher sum thing with pace with brains with gears to go up or down or endurance if mr right got up !
