I was just advised last week that a browning gold was a good choice. Said person is obsessed with browning though, are they just bias or is it a good choice?

Hi guys, just joined this forum and this is my second post I am looking at getting a shotgun as I am getting more and more into shooting. Any suggestions for a first time shotgun? I don't really want to spend a fortune as I am only 17 and will have to save up till I have enough money, any suggestions would be much appreciated
