I'm very happy with my V8 Discovery 1, I was looking at the Discovery 2 but I'm a petrol head and they only made the V8 ones of the D2 after 2003 (I think) so there was an 8 Grand price difference!! I thought I was probably best buying one of the last D1's when most of the problems were sorted than an early D2 that after reading around seem to have reliability issues and more leaks than the Belgrano!!! It is heavy on fuel if you hammer it, not unusual for me to get 12 MPG but then on a run if I'm gentle with it, I have also seen 20/22 MPG, am happy enough with it so far, parts seem ch

Ricky, has he got a website by any chance? Have got a 4.0 V8 Discovery here that is far too cheap to run Seriously though, Supercharged would be interesting, wonder how much extra grunt that would give?

you should of had your own stall your stuff will fly out I hope so mate! Might help with the fuel bill 300 miles in a 4.0 V8 Discovery ........... I didn't have a stall after reading the terms and conditions, it's got to be a "proper stall" that is there both days, ready to trade at 8am and not close until 6pm, I'm on my way but not at that level just yet! Think I'll carry a few around and see how it goes.

Sore point this week that mate, but generally yes that's how it works (in special clubs of course, not just in Tescos ) But we all need to keep something back for ourselves .............. I was of course joking, I spent the money I think on more webbing and buckles to make more collars!

Evening all ........... Been asked a few times for 1" wide collars and leads, but couldn't get decent fittings in any quantity before, webbing or fittings. But now I can: 1" wide x 5ply Terrier size collar, with STEEL fittings. Available in Red, Green or Black £9 including post (£7 if you're anywhere near and want to pick it up!) 1" wide x 5ply Terrier size collar, with BRASS fittings. Red, Green or Black £12 including post (£10 if blah blah blah) 1" Wide x 2ply leads, 6 foot long with heavy duty bullsnap on the end.
