  1. Mr Jasper, I resemble that remark! I can see why they've done it ................ I'm annoyed because I thought I'd found a nice little way to make my service quicker, I guess I still have I just need to provide them with all my details, which isn't really very helpful from my point of view! It's game over now anyway, I haven't got nor want a Bank Account, so that's that I think.
  2. Sorry Chaps, need a plan B. As you'll see from my seperate thread about Paypal (are they anything to do with the Pope??) then that is a non starter. Thinking it might be best if I just buy a big box full of those Brass Couples and sell them at Game Fairs through the summer, I'll wear a red carnation so you know it's me . As some of you might remember I have an affliction that causes me to try and set a stall up wherever I go ............
  3. Sorry DS, I went to bed shortly after posting that, just seen the replies, thanks for your concern. I have no doubt that the requests for validation, and the provision of ID and invoice details are genuine, This is my Paypal homepage now: I know the email rambles on and looks dodgy, but even if we assume that is a fake, then I still get this when I log into Paypal, from any direction, through ebay, from the homepage. On the screen shot of the transactions they asked me to provide further details for, 3 of the transactions are with people off here! It is def
  4. Ok so after numerous requests from people to pay by Paypal, I opened an account a couple of weeks ago, not linked to a bank account, because A. I haven't got one, and B. I know from experience how easy it is for people to do chargebacks, if your paypal account is funded by your current account and someone pays you say £300 for an item, then a week later reports that they haven't had it, then Paypal just refund them anyway, the money comes straight out of your bank account and you lose.......... But, I thought it might be good for taking the odd £20 here and there, makes life easy etc.
  5. Ring your local Trading Standards and have a discrete word with them, they don't always know there's a problem until someone tells them. I wouldn't let my Partners 11 year old Daughter watch the Brits last night, as I thought it was loads of druggies and pissed idiots thinking they're dead cool to be on TV off their heads That Docherty lad wants a good Not the example I'd like her to follow. Alternatively, you could always burn the shop down STRONGSTUFF .... The voice of reason ....
  6. Hi all, as requested, here's the thread for the Solid Brass Trigger Type Terrier Couples. Price is £10 each plus £2 for postage, the minimum order I can place is going to be equal to 20 pairs plus VAT so they work out at £10 each inc VAT, obviously I need to charge postage on them also. These Couples are English Made, Solid Brass and should last a lifetime, they are eaxactly the same as a certain other supplier uses (they don't advertise on here ) I'll be doing all this by Paypal (as long as Paypal doesn't decide to mess about like they normally do!) To order......
  7. You are quite correct, nylon leads are any length you'd like. I'm not sure whether to be offended that everyone wants the brass couples but not my collars .................. To be dead honest I've got loads on at the minute and while I'm not complaining it would be next week at the earliest that I can sort these couples out (the brass couples on their own that is) I think the easiest way forward is for me to use Paypal for these, but like I said I need a minimum of 20 orders for the couples. Would it be best to start a seperate thread for brass couples on their own?

    C2c

If you're not one and the same bloke, then I'm a Chinaman. I see you and C2C are both Donators on here, would be interesting to see what email addresses you both used for your Paypal Payments. This is absolutely nothing to do with competition, this is everything to do with protecting the decent lads on here from dodgy sales. I don't make leather gear, but if I did .............

    C2c

I had an early night .................. C2C seems now to be DDD on here, still advertising his leather work but not fulfilling his obligations. I hope he's going to sort those collars and couple out that he promised to donate to the auction, Moll's got enough to do without chasing ghosts! I haven't made this post to try and stir any bad feeling, the lads who advertise and try to sell stuff on here need all the help we can get, we certainly don't need people coming on taking lads money and then changing user names .............. it's hard enough without them!

    C2c

C2C is still on here, under a different name. Maybe no one else has sussed it? He's got until midnight to reveal his new ID or I will for him! C2C / Neil, you'd do better copying my quality and service instead of my words, you might actually do yourself some good if you did. Not the first time I've heard "FOUL" cried when you're around ............ Sort yourself out.
  11. Meant to add a price for the Brass Trigger couples on their own ............. They will be around £12 each, but, have been told today that the new minimum order for this supplier is £250 + VAT, so not really sure there will be 20 people wanting them ............ Seems all suppliers are going the same way with their minimum orders lately, got a room full of webbing here that I had to buy to be able to get what I wanted.
  12. Bloody troublemaker ....................... Yes, not a problem selling them seperately, but I'd need to get an order together to be able to buy just those brass clip couples, the supplier has a minimum order value, and I've just bought a load of stuff, it's not a huge amount, but it would be at least 10 sets of those couples with the clips on. How many would you like JD?
  13. I didn't know I was going to stumble across the supplier so I didn't know I was going to be making these myself mate.
  14. Been looking for these BGB type snaps for about 2 years and have now found a reliable sensible source in England, I normally use Bullsnaps, but the prie of them keeps going up and up, the nickel plated ones I use have gone up from £4.50 + VAT each to over £6 + now, they are good, but NOT that good that they can't be substituted! These BGB snaps are the bollocks though, dead easy to use and strong as you firking like, nice deep shine on them too, I've got a bit of a fetish for shiny stuff and these make me happy ........... 1" wide 2 ply with 25mm BGB type snap, £7 1.5" wide
  15. Hi all, started making these as much for my own satisfaction as much as to sell them, the prices the Brass gear costs I won't be getting rich off these! But .............. If you want the very very best, then here it is, all brass fittings are best quality MADE IN ENGLAND and SOLID, they are exactly the same as the other company in England uses. Firstly there is a couple with trigger hooks and 2 x 5 ply 1" wide collars, with solid brass fittings. Then the more traditional type of couple and collars, again in solid brass with solid English made fittings. And then the l
  16. Ditch has crashed their site! Can't see the page now, should have been quicker I guess, and got there before DS left a trail of devastation in his cyber wake
  17. I'd be more than happy to send collars to the US, and I have already sent a few. The problem is getting the money to me, people never seem too keen to make any effort to pay me, I get asked "do you have Paypal", reply no, and that's the end of it, would it really be so difficult to put money in an envelope and post it insured post to me, as I indeed do with the collars. Also, the exchange rate isn't great, £25 for a collar to fit a big dog and last a lifetime doesn't seem excessive ........... but $50 doesn't sound so good! Ditch, if it were me ........... I'd be using those chain
  18. Dunno really mate, don't like to ask, but all sorted now thanks.
  19. I had one ................ And some dirty thieving twat did a chargeback on me on ebay .............. I refused to credit any money into my account (why should I after all, the person had the item I sold them) Paypal increased the amount I "owed" them with charges etc to over £1000, they're still waiting for it, I did suggest they send Bailifs round but none so far! It's one of those things, great until it goes wrong then it goes very very wrong.
  20. Hi all, my Donator subscirtion is about to expire, so not being a Paypal user I need to find someone who will renew my subscription for me in return for some of my gear. Simple enough, instead of sending me any money you pay it into the donator paypal account (which I will of course clear with I.B first) and I post you whatever it is you want, to the same value - ish of course. Anyone? Thanks Aaron
  21. I heard it was exceptionally good at counteracting the floppy dick effects of certain nasally ingested stimulants ........... I've tried it (Viagra that is) and it turned me into a major sex pest, good job the dog can run faster than me, it did have the exploding head effect, veins standing out like a mad man ............... in fact just like my in my avatar! Drugs are bad kids, just say NO!

  23. B&f crap !! lol it certainly isnt crap !!! expensive yes . Strong stuff you were at our show in chirk last year, some good stuff you have fella. do you do leather couples, collars ect ? i only ask as i have a young dog that can only wear leather as the others materials seem to iratate him around his neck . Hi mate, that was the first lot of terrier stuff I'd made, hopefully you'll see how it evolved over the last year. I don't normally make leather, I leave that to those who do it well and try to make what I make as well as I can. Have seen some excellent leather stuff
  24. Staffy, I'd sold out at Otley! Had an excellent day there, hope to do it again this year. Right, a huge thank you for the pm's and replies and photos so far, am just about to send replies. As usual something has got in the way of me doing this new site for a week or so at least, probably 2 weeks, so bear with me, I will be sending one or two sets of couples out in return for photos, just won't be this week now. Many thanks again. A
