    Have looked through the show ads on here and can't find this one listed, it is definitely on, was an excellent day out last year hopefully the weather will hold. Am really crap at giving directions, can someone else post the location etc please?

    Blimey! Well it's all good to hear, definitely better than a complaints thread!!! I do make narrower collars too mate yes, can do most of the colours in 1.5" wide (40mm), Black only in 1.25" wide (30mm) and loads of colours in 1" wide.

    Have only got sketchy details, but have got a definite location, so that's a start! There's a Terrier and Lurcher Show on this Monday in North Wales, come off the A55 at Junction 31 and it will be signposted from there, it's near Caerwys I believe. Hopefully someone on here can fill in the blanks, like if it's a qualifier etc. Judging starts at 1pm. Anyone know any more?

    You are quite correct. This book is called "The world of fighting dogs", it is about the dogs that used to be fought, their history and breeding etc. It isn't really about the fighting of dogs. I'm curious as to how he'd be doing the "world a favour" by chucking it in the bin? Either way, this is a for sale post, not a comment box for misguided individuals who think they know what they're on about.     Am not in the Building trade myself, but my Dad spent his life in and out of work as a Joiner on building sites in Liverpool, so I can fully sympathise with you lads. It was hard enough before "they" came, it must be dire now. Some good news though they seem to be starting to go back home, albeit with the effects of British culture on them .............. seems some of them are now Alkies and Smackheads, and we get the blame for that too!!! :realmad: Like their own country doesn't have any problems with drink or drugs .........     Have had a few PM's lately asking about the collars that I make for Stronger Dogs, am sure you're all familiar with my Terrier Collars and Couples So here's what I make for the "Strong Dogs", have had good reports from lads who've used these on Bull Lurchers too, so they are probably suitable for them too! These collars are 2" wide, made up of 5 layers (ply) of British Made webbing, each layer is tested by the manufacturer to have a breaking strain greater than 5000 Kg (quite a lot!)     Know exactly how you feel Ant, hope you're feeling better today. Am just getting ready myself to go over to Leeds, to a 24 year old lads funeral, met him through dogs so there may be some on here who knew him too.
