  1. Amazing work, I've been looking for these pics since you first mentioned it. I think you might have forgotten something on the dog though ............ I'll pm you right this minute for the link.
  2. I was supposed to ring you .............. You got a pm! As for the CMW, I didn't realise it was in this weeks issue. Thanks mate!
  3. Hello all, have been spending more time in Wales lately at a few of your shows, and have been asked a few times for collars in colours other than Red/White/Blue So here you go! I will be going to the Welsh show this weekend so if anyone wanted to order any of these and meet me outside the show then that's no problem, mobile number can be given, just ring me and I'll meet you. Otherwise prices include free postage. 1. 2" Wide, 5 ply collar in Red/White/Green @ £15 2. 1.5" Wide, 5 ply collar in R/W/G @ £10 3. 1" Wide 4 ply collar in R/W/G @ £8 ea, made
  4. It was made by me to someone elses specs mate, I wouldn't like to say if it could stop Coyote teeth, not many of those around here to test it on!!! That collar is made from 3 layers thickness of webbing at the outer edges, I tried stabbing it with a screwdriver and it wouldn't go through, but having seen the pig collars I know they have Kevlar layered in, so I guess more protection is needed than webbing alone. The wide collar was made to spread the load across a very large dog's neck, not to stop it being bitten. Not sure what the answer is really mate, sorry I can't be more h
  5. No mate, I am but one man, the Welsh is a bit ambitious for this year for me but maybe next ........... You have a pm.
  6. The "Lifetime Guarantee" covers my workmanship, of course things wear out over time, but I guarantee that my collars will never snap or fall apart. The only exception I have to make is that I won't mcover them against chewing, but if you send me the bits back I'll make you more at a reduced price. I can't see it would be a problem that if some of the brassware wears out unreasonably quickly then I can return it to them, they are an English Chainmaking company who were founded in 1870, I'd guess they would have the same standards as myself and would be keen to stand by their product, if
  7. except you need your log book now....to buy plates !!!! you naughty boy sean Not if you buy them "for show use only" ..............
  8. You might want to go back and watermark the examples you've posted on here mate, wouldn't want you to lose out.
  9. At close to £130 per tankful in my Discovery, I was starting to think about just filling up and driving off! A set of number plates costs around £20 .............. Just need to keep looking in the Autotrader and Ebay to find a similar one to mine and copy the reg
  10. As it is all my fault in the first place ............ I was going to say "is there a vacancy?" But think we'd all agree that at the minute there is!

I think Shay has gone too, another jolly decent chap bites the dust. Simon, have you never fancied moderating? You seem a level headed sort of bloke.
  12. Just got back from a well organised, smoothly run, friendly show, definitely a credit to the lads whose hard work made it possible. It was good to meet friends old and new, these local shows are a much better day out than the "supermarket" type shows, think more and more people are realising that too judging from the attendance today.
  13. "Fiddling" !? I have indeed changed the old style lights for the 03 type, it was really easy and took no time at all to do .................... Truth is it took the best part of 2 full days, you have to cut the old front end off the car basically, cost a bloody fortune for the parts, and was a nightmare to do, but I think it's worth it, looks much prettier now! And they are dead straight, they do need the beams raising a bit so they shine annoyingly into the back of other cars like the old ones did .......... Will someone please buy my camera!!!!!!!
  14. surprise if it a "show" as any man bringing there dogs out already knows the score geting the dog right and the right weight You'd be amazed at some of the things I've heard lately, lads with no experience saying they are going into top level dogs ........... but, I guess they all start somewhere, just for the record I never started at all! whats that got to do with me mr collar man. Absolutely nothing I suppose, which is why it why it was someone elses words in the quotes. From the time and tone of all your replies posted last night, I'm guessing your Mummy let y

  16. Just a question, this "show", are you talking about a physical show where the dog needs to be in peak condition, or just a stand around and say "nice dog mate" type of show?
  17. Thanks chaps! Not the Lakes though, that's Wales!!! Taken about 5 minutes drive away from the Elan Valley show I've been to today, what an awesome location, will be posting a pic on that topic later, just off to work again now ............. Sykes, I can't imagine anyone would say anything if you pitched a tent up there, there's a LOT of sheep roaming around though, you might get mugged!
  18. A photo taken with the camera today ............ Obviously re sized, but think you can get the idea
  19. It's on! From the 5th to the 11th of June
  20. Well it's definitely cheap, but it's still here, maybe the credit crunch is hitting already?! Come on chaps am dying to buy my new one!
  21. They look brand new mate, I know you said they were good, but wasn't expecting that! You didn't say in your ad but these are genuine British Army issue I take it? Do they have the wire in the hood like the old ones? I'll come and have a try on as soon as I can escape, if you've got any left that is, can't imagine these hanging around for long.
  22. Still here! Had a couple of messers, but as yet unsold .................
