    Best not eh? I've only got 1 dog, and am lucky that I get plenty of time to get around, I get a couple of boxes of butchers scrap and trimmings a week and more often than not end up with too much, if you opened my freezer you'd think I was a serial killer ........ Well, that and the boxes of teeth I have in the cupboard Dog is bouncing with a raw diet, wish I'd done it years ago.

    I think I'm right in saying they used to be made in the UK Guess where they are made now .......... Europe and Asia. That's never a good move for quality! The last pair of Hillmasters I had, the lace hooks fell off after a few months. I only wore them for walking the dog, they wouldn't have survived hard use for long that's for sure.

    Blimey, only just seen that post. What can I say, except thank you. Hopefully anyone looking in will see that my feedback is given from actual first hand experience of gear I've made, gear that has been used hard and survived from season to season, with the minimum of maintainance. Just noticed that I've posted this whole thread in the wrong section, could a mod please move it to the right place please.

    Can't recommend them highly enough! Been with them nearly 3 years now, nothing to report, exactly the way it should be. On the couple of occasions I've had to ring, they are spot on. I only went with them because BT were so shit at sorting my order out, I was told at the time, that although PN uses all BT's lines etc, PN's customers get priority over BT's own, they got me online in a couple of days when BT were quoting weeks delay.

    The link that GD posted are as good as any, the 3 of us (B+F too) get them from the same place. I don't sell the trigger couple on it's own, simply because there would be £2 profit in it at Blackdog's (not unreasonable) price.

    Now revised design, please see post further down for new version. 50mm wide collar with 20mm wide slip lead attached. Slip goes through the middle of the 50mm collar part, allowing adjustment so the wide part is where you want it to be on the dog's neck. One end has a wrist loop, the other a smaller loop. Nothing fancy, and to be honest I don't even know if they work. I'm not looking for helpful advice here thanks all the same, if you can make one differently/better, then off you go and put your own ad up. They are £8 + 1st class recorded postage. £12 total. I wonder, if you did your shopping on line, would that be a way to avoid the local shops? I've got a local shop and garage 20 paces from my house, it was bought out by a Sri Lankan recently, I'll never go in there again, I've given up smoking after 30 years, was rattling like fck the other night but the thought of giving 8 quid to one of those stopped me hahaha i know that SS just pointing out t

    Can I ask why not? Wouldn't that moral lead to people hiding behind children, I haven't got any, but I know fact that when I was younger I'd have more respect for my dad if he stepped up and maybe got knocked down in front of me than I would if he'd hidden behind me! Thing is with this story about hitting a bloke in front of his kids ........ is it quite that simple? Was the bloke actually holding a baby? I'd doubt it myself.
