To be truthful.... After i replied to this thread, i went and got the collar in question and had a closer look at it....after about 8 months of daily use its showing the inevitable wear and tear... Holes in the strap are stretching a little... Few bits of stitching coming undone here and there.... Strap has stretched.... But its still very stiff.... Ive had a leather conditioner on it...but its not softened.... My ocd is getting the better of me and these little things are something i notice....and theyre doing my head in.... 8 quid a year aint bad at all....and i

Then you better get making some more!!!! I got mine today, thank you. I love it! I'm 11 again I'm completely shite with it, but that doesn't alter that it is fun. The one I got sent, Lee had described as a bit rough, well here's the thing, the more you make, the better they'll get. I know there are a few at it, but if yours are your own version, then I'm sure you'll build up a following (and go from Cu.nt to CULT lol) I'm well happy, just off to find some balls now to shoot. It will deffo be coming to work with me tomorrow to shoot ice cubes at passing smackheads Thank you. M

Excellent as always.

Of course he has...he wont have shite reviews on there will he!!! Bang on. When he changed his design of the terrier collars to a "similar" one to mine ............ I left him some feedback alright, big surprise, it didn't get published. If the feedback was on a site like Trust Pilot then maybe I'd believe it. I normally refer lads to here to search, good or bad it's all been said about me, but I can't seem to find many negatives from people who actually use my gear, just the usual bollocks of "they look massive" etc. As for FTB on my collars ......... please!? Unlikely for 2

For Sale Tapered Lurcher collars ......... made properly
Strong Stuff replied to Strong Stuff's topic in Miscellaneous
It will soon soften up too, I know my gear feels a bit stiff at first. Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. Looks top drawer stuff I think I'll order soon .Bit worried about this comment though. You can have yours without jizz if you like ........... The stiff thing, all it is that the stitching (and there's a lot) pulls the layers together really tight, once it relaxes a little they do soften up nicely. You can do this yourself, just hold the ends of the collar so it is in an upside down U shape and roll the collar a few times, it soon goes flexible. -
Forgot to ask, are you happy with yours? As for whether to buy/use mine or any of the leather ones, then that simple enough, if you want leather choose from the hundreds who make it. If you don't, and you want gear with 9 years of brutal testing behind it, by lads who'd soon tell you if it was no good, then email me.

Perhaps when Gafers pet moderator has finished his coffee, he could clean this thread up please, I feel that I am the victim of cyber bullying. So what are you saying now then Jaffa? That BPR did try scrounging off you??? So where you lying when you said on here that you didn't tell me that ages ago? And sent me a copy of the pm ............. The truth's the truth, looks like it is all coming out now! BPR, I told you he had sent me that pm.

Does Anyone Save Their Own Seeds?
Strong Stuff replied to JohnGalway's topic in Living Off The Land & Game Cooking
I was just about write, I've got an old sock that's got quite a few of my own seeds on ........... Sorry John. -
You're right, I have taken inspiration from others I've seen recently, mostly the Ferplast one, I've made these using that basic idea and done it with my materials. No shame here now, monkey see, monkey do. How many would you like?
-
Well its not your design nor did you make it. the one i did for my bull x is mine those are just the other way round what you are ona bout Yeah, similar, but these are made right, some soft cnt put the D ring on the wrong side on some I saw .............. so the narrow bit was under the dogs neck. Am impressed with his understanding of canine anatomy. To the lads who have ordered these collars, the "production" ones are finished better than the prototypes shown in the photos, you won't be disappointed. All I've got to do now is work my way through the ever growing list, will be

All those kisses for me? I don't think you're my type ................. when I said I like big fannies, I didn't mean ..........
-
As it goes though, in all seriousness .......... It was only me who thought it was out of order, so maybe I was wrong, and it's perfectly fine to copy other designs, it is one or the other, and I was on my own the other way so I joined in. Only thing is, I guarantee mine to last a lifetime, does anyone else? BPR, you know you love my gear, I've heard how you get a litle bit erect when you see all your mates dogs with Strong Stuff gear on, don't resist me, you know you want it really x
-
Yes, it's all fine. Catapults next.
-
And yes, I know, my photography is hopelessly shite ........ The gear is much better that my photography!
-
First one is 80mm wide at wide part under throat, with 2 buckles to ensure D stays central on dogs neck, I was going to put the D on the wide point, but that would be stupid. Top strap and D is 40mm, these are not for small dogs, minimum size dog that this width would suit would be something the size of a Presa. One of these with steel fittings as in the photo is £30 + postage. I can also make them in a size more suited to normal dogs, as below, with the wide part at 50mm (same as most greyhound collars) and the top strap and D at 25mm. These are £25 inc postage

No, your ma in law has squirted all over them.
-
Yes, black. Can do royal and red and if you really wanted yellow. The olive green/brown etc, the webbing is softer, it's fine when there is black in the middle, but these aren't enough layers to do that.

Yeah, go 'ead, off you go! Not even a donator, there's some cheapskates on here these days.
