    Just a few pictures from over christmas.....a random selection i suppose. My young lurcher bitch seems to have grown out now but is still very puppyish in her attitude at times. she has stuck a few bits and bobs in my freezer, but not convinced me whilst tracking other quarry. but that will come just needs patients on my behalf. also had a terrier that was coming along nicely decide that the game wasnt for him so unfortunately he has been evicted from my kennels lol. but all in all we are sailing along quietly with the pot lickers! big thank you to all the lads who had me on in

    i could lamp both my dogs off a slip no problem.........the dogs would be in the next county before i go over the fence......so i guess this doesnt count! i have only seen one genuine dog worked off a slip. good mate of mine has a nice steady bitch that will skulk at his heels. If charlie is illuminated and called in she will sit like a statue no matter how close in he comes. Does the same whilst stalking deer will not begin to track until commanded no matter how close! its a real pleasure to see and i have to say whilst my dog is pulling and straining and tangling up on the slip, i h

    My main quarry when it was all legal was the sly old mr fox! It was about the only game that was plentiful her in wales, and through my uncle having hounds, my father being a terrierman I had a constant supply of old red skin! Anyone who hunted these animals will have no doubt seen them do things that literally blow your mind! And anyone who tries to tell me there dogs never misses a fox just aren’t running enough!     Had a run out last night with joe off here and his pup...........conditions were as bad as could be but god loves a trier...... The rabbits were on fire and seemed to be clinical when reaching fences, no bouncers or stupid suicidal rabbits about......typical .....we managed to bang one in the bag ....joe's pup lapping it up in style! was woken in the night by me terriers playing me up so rather than having to beat my whole kennels i decided to box the two lurchers and head to another piece of ground we had sussed..... and sods law the bunnies were playing ball. my two ran well to be ho

    This little pup literally amazes me! the condition he is in is unreal! hes as keen as any dog i have seen as well. joe is doing a great job with him and holding him back is deffo on cards! had a trip up north and he was given his chance on a few bunnies........we made him put the little shit away when he began showing up our dogs lol all in all nice little mutt coming on just grand

    ha ha those little ninja like deer are my favourites i have to say....... im sure my vet could retire off sorting my bitch out after encountering them! she use to pick them up by the scruff like she would a fox and then bare the brunt of the pointy little antlers! mad little deer but by far my favourite....... atb
