    hi there I have bought some lovely natural cattys lately including a lovely little one off cushtyjook. my plan was to give that one to my nephew for Christmas but to be honest I like it too much so I am on the look out for a small natural for him. just wandering if there was any about? regards

    he has a lot to prove mate before he has the luxury of covering a bitch. they are about mate in pockets and I have seen some excellent white dogs work to ground, they may not be in the numbers they ounce were but they are about mate what part of the country are you from mate just out of interest as I may be able to point you in the right direction? atb

    he was bread by a bloke in south wales who has had the line years. great bloke, that lives and breathes working dogs. I have since been back to get a bitch who would be a half sister to the dog in photo as I liked them so much. atb

    Thanks mate.just to add I stayed in gwalchmai for about 6 months.working on the new road through the island. Use to drink in the pub next to the spar shop. ha ha well mate believe it or not I have never been there lol. it is my family name that originates from there lol

    had a day out Saturday to try and mop up a couple of bird killers on a small shoot. pushed some cover through first, but as we already new in that sort of weather there was only one place we were going to find Charlie, and that was under the sod. we tried a few small places to no joy so I started out across the rushes to a very large rangy earth I knew very well. the lurcher was off ahead and when we reached the earth my little red bitch was marking the top end of the earth , like her life depended on it.     it has been nearly two months now since I had to put my big man down in his prime. ( deerhoundxcolliexgreyhound) and to be fair it broke me at the time!! I went through a real low truth be told and thought about packing the lot in, but as you all know if its in your blood its not that easy. to be honest the dog world is all I know, as sad as it sounds! anyway I then had to look to my little red bitch "sika" to take the bull by the horns and turn her hand to some tasks that were alien to her and to be fair she did so without a hint of ill feeling. she has done anything i have asked and she

    my lurcher bitch has put paid to a few whilst out lamping the bogs, obviously not the preferred game for a lurcher but like has been already stated I do like my lurcher to be an all around pot filler and I like a dog that will turn its hand to any situation as the opportunity arises, and if that means a few feathery items are added to the game bag, that to me, is a lurcher. atb
