  5. I have been loosing hens just of late but it has been to hot to take dogs in search of the culprit. last night saw a break in the weather here in wales so I grabbed the bull by the horns (or the dog by its collar) and headed out with a few of the mutts. my plan was to attack the mass of brambles in my big wood behind the house. Anything was on the menu to be honest and it was just a chance to keep the dogs ticking over in the summer. I had with me "ffloyd", "patch" and "gin" three of my digging russels that you may have seen on the terrier forum. completing the back was one of my beagles a

  12. I thought a few of you may be interested in a couple of lurchers im kennelling for a mate at minute. The big rough coated dog "Max" is a colliexgreyhound x welsh hound. he was bred to hunt up on the welsh hills where his owner lives and to work with a pack of hounds. Both of these jobs he excels at. he is very laid back , has great feet and as you can imagine a fantastic nose as you would expect. he is fast enough for his chosen quarry and he marks for fun. he then set about breeding a small all round bitch out of big max so he put him over his whippet greyhound bitch. but ended with

  19. the weather is faaaaarrrrrrr to hot for me. im a typical winger to be honest and being a fat b*****d this heat melts me my white mutts have been enjoying there time off lately with long walks early in the morning along the river bank to keep them cool. they get to hunt mink that are in good numbers on all the little streams by my home so this keeps them ticking over. but when my phone rang at 9 o clock saturday night i knew it was the call all terriermen should dread this time of year. it was off a farmer who is also a very good friend and he was a little miffed to say the least!! he h
