    heres a couple of a pals.....black and white bitch is mainly bullxgrey but has a touch of collie in her line. very game bitch but has a brain!! the blue rough dog is bullxgreyxcolliebull deerhound a very sensible dog who has put some serious gear away for his age! atb

    had a quiet walk out early this morning with wales123 again. he travalled up with two of his mutts one of which was the big bullxhound! we went to a large forestry block ....collared the mutts and turned them loose! was a pretty quiet walk to be honest but the dogs seemed to be constantly hunting about on scent. owain blue bitch added a little excitement when she went into a perfect "point" style mark in some thick cover and the big old hound cross went smashing in and out exploded our quarry but he was soon away using the tarmac to his advantage! i was amazed by the big hound cross! i

    had joeb886 & wales 123 down to my place for a walk out. joe bought "lunar" his cocker x paterdale for a bit of experience and Owain bought two of his runners down for a leg stretch! we just walked aload of rough ground leaving the dogs to just hunt up on the few bits and bobs that were about! young "lunar" is coming on leaps and bounds and is not moithery like some pups ive taken out. she is really starting to get her head down and hunt scent. it was first time id seen Owain dogs go and i must say his blue bitch impressed me! she is always busy hunting scent and to be fair never b

    im really considering a coursing type pup! im just worried if i could do one justice! but like said in another post im hoping to see some go this season so we will see what they are capable of and weather they would suit me! atb

    Second from bottom? Absoloute beauty isn't it. Just showed my missus and she says go get it. Haha.     yep i walk all mine to a "firm" state just letting them hunt up whilst on the hill. the only way in my opinion for them to reach running fit....is to run them fit in season. i like to try and let my mutts have a quiet summer(although they very often have other ideas) and come the winter run the legs of them! my lurchers also do alot of swimming this time of year which i find benefits them! atb

    Same as me bud ! I actually get on with this pup no pissy footing around her just takes everything in her stride ! yep thats exactly it mate. ill probably have her with me when you come down in a couple of weeks just to give her some experience

    joe was a great lad mate and had done some great foundation work with the little bitch which just made everything that little bit easier! the permission i have local certainly isnt the most productive but it serves its purpose. i have had my share of invites and have met some good people through it so only fair to return favours and help out where i can

    a few of you may of seen on here joeb8866 post asking about any one in mid wales who could take him out for a mooch with his young cockerxpatterdale "lunar". as it turns out he lives about 3 miles from me, so as i have a decent amount of permission in this area i figured id try and help him out! i arranged to meat him in the village and he followed me up to the farm. The little bitch he has is a real eye catcher. and what struck me with her is how steady and responsive she is! i took with me one of my beagles and a terrier and little "lunar" to complete the pack, and we set off for a c
