  1. Well funny enough I've been looking at the same rifle. Gonna go look at one tomorrow and see how much I can trade my s400 for. Atb.
  2. Jack pyke do a few things. They do a wrap which is like a bandage that sticks to its self so no sticky residue left if you remove it. (I use this) or there is a thing called camoit, it's a plastic wrap you shrink to the shape of your rifle. Google it. It looks pretty awesome if you have to time to fit it. Atb.
  3. I don't think so but pretty soon there will be one. It's being built as we speak up at swarland.check out www.stealthunter.co.uk there is an outdoor one up and running right now.
  4. Did anyone read the right up In airgun world about stu's place? Double page spread vert good indeed. I for one will become a member of his club and show support by getting my gear from him too. Hopefully will get to meet some of you up there and get to put names to faces so to speak.
  5. Nice read as always Mac. I'm hopefully getting a new job soon which allows more time to be out knocking on doors to get my own perm. Then hopefully I can start sharing my days/nights out. ATB.
  6. If your using your Sat nav, where it says to turn off for the range it's about 400 yards further along the road. Look for a massive stone pig in the garden. Very friendly place indeed. ATB.
  7. It is mate. Nothing in its league in the north. I will be returning.
  8. So I've popped up to the range at swarland. Followed my sat nav which took me to a farm that wasn't the place and carried on. Rode around for 40 mins looking for the place and it was only the next farm along!!! So when I arrived I was greeted by a lovely lady who said Stewart wasn't in today and get my self away and shoot. All for a fiver. So set myself up zero at 27 yards and cracked like I was told too. She pop's over to say I'm of for some fertiliser, I'll be back in an hour or so. If anyone turns up tell them to post there cash through the letter box and crack on. So I'm sitting her
  9. Omg!!! Nightmare for Ya mate. Still good read. Good luck for the quieter return visit. ATB.
  10. R-10 all the way mate. You'll not go wrong with one. Not heavy but not too light. I have the vc one which is awesome but you can get it with a shroud which makes it look the mutts nuts. There's a lot of opinions which is quieter but that's up to you. All round great rifle. ATB.
  11. Mate the police sure love you like. Must have you on there speed dial. Nice reading as always mate. ATB.
  12. Nice story mate. Good shooting. That's three less to munch them flowers. ATB.
  13. Den I've recently acquired the very same rifle, they are stunning mate. Haven't got any permissions to put it to real use yet. So I'll have to be content with the range. I too am a convert to .117 i find them different but still good all the same. ATB
  14. I have the AA s400. Epic rifle, not too heavy but not too light either, very well balanced. Imo. I use the pump(fx three stage pump) does the job nicely, you don't need to be super fit to use it either. I have the magazine conversion on it where you index the next pellet with your thumb so it good for in the field or remove it for single shot at the range or hft. Never shot the multi shot but own an bsa r10, so can't comment on the multi shot. But if it's anything like the r10 you won't go wrong. ATB.
  15. Well I've ordered the sport hd. 3-9x50, high mounts. Will be here tomorrow. Just gutted the range is closed tomorrow as I won't be off till next Wednesday so I'll have to wait till then to zero it.
  16. I want it for my r10 you reckon low or high mounts?
  17. I had a look at both mate at bagnal's. I'm gonna get the 50. Thanks for the offer thou.
  18. Think I've found my new scope. Hawke sport hd. Is there much difference from 3-9x50 from 3-9x40?
  19. Not bothered about ir. never use it pointless IMO. I'll have a look about see who selling what. Thanks for the input gents Atb logan.
  20. Well "mr toejam" ( every time I see you name I laugh, again epic choice). I've only shot a few rounds throu it in my garden. But I've found it very comfy to hold. Not to heavy but enough to stop it flying all over when it's fired. It's the vc model with mod and it's pretty quiet. Like I said I need a decent scope for it. But I'm over the moon with it. Need to get some new glass then up the range to zero it. And after all that I need a new permission too put it to real use. ?
