  2. Yeah I'm looking at ultras now, they seem ok like. Small, compact, not too bad on the eye. Not many shots in it, but that's ok if I use all 40 shots up I'm either having the time of my life or I need to go home..... Yes think I may give these a consideration. (Still like the ds thou) ;0) ATB

  7. Yeah the hw100 is nice but id be getting something that's the same, weight and accuracy wise. Worrying that the best part of a grand may brake at any moment is one thing that's putting me off if I'm honest. Wight is something I want to loose too. Atb
  8. I really do like the r10 but was looking for something a little lighter. Plus the huntsman looks stunning. Atb
  9. Afternoon gents. I'm very tempted by the regal, I shouldered one the other day and it felt right. I know ds haven't had great reviews recently but I really like the look and feel of one. There a lot of wedge so I'm unsure if it will be worth it. Any advice is much appreciated. Villaman I know you don't like ds but what do you think. I'm thinking of part exing my r10 mk2 in for it. Atb

  15. Cheers mac, My perm the rabbits are ok with white light. So that's good.they don't spook too easy either as there is a lot of dog walkers through there during the day. I can't way to get out I've only been out the house once in 2 weeks so I'm getting cabin fever. Atb

  21. Only met Andy the once but seems like a top bloke. Am sure with a lot of shouting and swearing he will be as good as the rest of the lads. FYI Andy. ... mac likes flap jack.;0) Atb
  22. R10 all the way, I had an AA s400 before the R10 both are very good rifles and are very very accurate. You will get a better shot count outta the R10 but into he field which I'm assuming what it's for that won't matter as you won't be taking so many shots in one sitting. Well unless you have an unbelievable permission.(that's what we all wish) They both hold value too, the R10 is a little bit heavier but you will get used to it. But all this advice is no good if any of the rifles "don't fit" try the both of you can or at least shoulder them. Any way, good luck in your choice and put s
  23. I'm looking for a new one, I have a 3-9" which is good off the bench but 9-13" are better in the field, if I'm not mistaken. But don't have the cash right now for one. Was contemplating sticks but not sure if I'd get on with them. I don't find they get in the way thou, they clasp onto the front sling screw then your sling attaches the the bipod. ATB
  24. Big Mac is one of the nicest blokes going, always there if you need to ask anything, always there to help anyone out. ALWAYS up for banter. Definitely a top quality gentlemen. He also likes flapjack. ATB
