    Do you have any links for the slings mate? Yeah maybe a small bottle would be the answer. Yeah I can get really good group's off the bench or prone off my Bach pack. Just standing and kneading I need the practice with. Atb

    I'm probably more accurate with the R10, (no recoil) but i can get a decent group with the prosport. just heavy to lugg about all day. just dont really wan to drill a hole in the stock to fit a sling thou. atb

    Gonna give the pro sport a good time out of the cabinet this summer, but does any one know of a way to attach a sling with out drilling into the stock? atb

    I hear you mate, defo but a decent fettled springer is pretty quiet thou. my pro sport is pretty quiet as it is and a bit of fettling it will be better. But i do hear you. atb

    evening gents, I'm undecided on giving up on pcp's or not. I shoot with an R10 which i love but ive been honing my skills in a field at my perm, with targets at different distances and im running out of air after a few hours while my mate and his springer are just plowing on. so Im thinking just use a springer from now on. plus im finding that in a standing or kneeling position the rifle is wandering and think with that heavier springer(pro sport) that it will help with the wander. What you all reckon? stick with the pcp's or not? atb

    just gone throu a new tin a jsb exacts, only one was damaged. so i'm thinking maybe there was just a massive batch that were dud ones. granted thats only one tin out of three that have been ok. atb

    Hi gents. I know this isn't exactly just about air rifles, but I know some of the lads on here and prefer there advice. Right here it goes. I'm looking for a new permission as mine has dried up, I've been knocking on doors sending letters out and the like. But my question is... what does everyone else start the conversation with?? I'm not a shy lad, but I'm not to sure how to go about it. Don't want to just ask out right. "Hey Mr farmer, can I come shoot on your land"(this is not what I'd say, it was meant light heartedly) Just not sure what ice breaker I should use. Any advic

    My perm has very little kicking about, the land owner gassed them all couple years back. But I've been up a few time recently and only seen a hand full of rabbits but a couple had mixy too!! What with all the dog walkers and horse riders there hardly anything about any way. Now mixy too! Time to get out and find another perm I think. Atb

    Bis mag was my next choice of pellet. I've got two tins of jsbs I need to get throu first. I can't afford more just now, lost my job the other week. But considering the h&n. Atb

    I've just looked at a new tin in.177. Same mate, about 10 out of 200 are damaged. They seem extra soft than they used to be. Let us know how you get on with the h&n, I may be changing brands too. Atb

    Yeah leaning more towards the 95 as Blackpool airgun centre are doing one with a vmack kit as standard. It's a bit of a hike to get there for me but a road trip there for the day ain't to bad. Still unsure thou. Atb

    Hello gents, I'm looking for some advice. I'm on the look out for a small light weight carbine. I've been looking at the hw99s that has been tuned by sfs also known as the "imp" but i will consider all other rifles, but something along those lines. money is tight just now as i've lost my job. If i was to buy a standard hw99 would it be expensive to shorten the barrel and have a mod fitted? I'm fairly confident in polishing up the internals and fitting a new spring and so forth (if nessersery). Ive also got a hw90k could do the same thing to this? (shorten&mod) cos if i can it w

    i use the standard mod on the vc, never had an issue. ( but i have just put a round throu it) suppose it does have a very slight report when firing. Hmmmm....... maybe a new mod for me too then. let me know what you choose mate, im very interested now!! atb

    hi paul, I myself have owned an aa s400(with the rowan converson) epic rifle!! had the same issue like mac said knocked it in the field, but very easy to fix even on the fly out in the field. dont be put off by buying second hand at all, i bought a BSA R10 of a lad on here, and its perfect!! love it to bits. If your budget can stretch that far it has an 180ish shot count, but you will need a bootle to fill it at some point, or a pump( but there are so much hard work, trust me i cant afford a bottle and use one) try all types of rifles out in the shop first, shoulder them or shoot t
