  1. nice pup and good x that, he sounds like settling in as well , rather have one like him ,than the quiet +nervy types .!I hope so! Yea he's settled in really well, he was running around with his tail wagging in no time. All we need to do now is give him a name! My little lad likes rocco, but I'm still unsure yet!
  2. He's a second generation saluki bull greyhound. Both parents were saluki greyhound x bull greyhound mate. Hopefully should make a good dog
  3. Well, I picked this little fella up yesterday and he's 9 weeks today. So just let him have a mooch around the house yesterday and settle in which he seemed to do straight away and just wanted to play. So play we did! Here he is this morning playing with a toy, fetching and retrieving already! Got to say how pleased I am with him, I've had my eye out for a pup for a while now and I think I've picked the right one. Both parents were workers that did plenty and the pups in great condition too.
  4. I know it sounds obvious but whichever is the most accurate mate and that's just trial and error. If you can hit it just below it's ear, it won't matter which pellet you've used!
  5. I've noticed that a couple of times before and always wondered what it was. Glad I know now! Took a photo too but I don't know how to get it on here
  6. You've just answered it yourself mate. Go with whatever feels right. You'd always be wondering if you didn't!
  7. Even before the reg, your T10 should be producing tight groups. When unregged, did you note it's optimum pressure point over it's power curve? You might have also been using pellets it didn't like. Anyway glad it's shooting accuracy now. Regarding your mate's statement - as long as you're happy with its accuracy, that's the main thing. Ask him to have a go to see for yourself. My T10 has a 37 yards zero (using a hawke nighteater scope) which on x9 mag gives me a 1 mildot holdover at 47 yards. I've shot a 5p sized group at 47 yards before on a nice, still summers evening before I went
  8. Where u at mate? There's an indoor club at burnley
  9. Yes a 5p group is good enough don't get me wrong, it's a headshot and that's all that bothers me. The groups actually covered by a 5p though and it's .22 which I thought was pretty impressive compared to what it was like previously. It was just the way he said his weihrauch was better and I've never shot one so didn't really know
  10. Oh yes, sorry forgot u don't have the stock yet. The reason I asked was because before I got the regulator, I could compare a group from the t-10 to a springer and there wouldn't be much in it. However afterwards I took it to the range to try it out and got one hole groups, less than 5p in size. Found it very boring though to be honest but seeing as though I tend not to shoot targets I was very happy and obviously took a photo of the target. I showed it to my mate and he said "my HW100 can do better than that, pellet on pellet" It wasn't far off pellet on pellet anyway!! So I wondered if he
  11. Mines got the tench reg aswell. Absolutely cracking gun now but wasn't that impressed with it before the reg. how do you think it compares to the weihrauch?
  12. I think this is the first time I've been on the airgun section and this is one of the first things I've read. I can honestly say I find it totally unbelievable at how much this lad is getting slated and how much depth it's going in to, because he, wait for it.... Shot a pigeon!!!! Especially when he could perfectly well have been on his own land and it could have been damaging his own crops or whatever it is that you need as a reason. Either way, I don't think he's going to have plod knocking on the door! Jesus, you'd think he'd shot someone's dog!
  13. Good effort mate. Have you got the t-10 regulated or not?
  14. Only just seen this! Gutted! Wouldn't have minded one of those! Atb
  15. Hi mate, got to agree with everyone else. I was in your position just over a year ago and although I've had dogs before I decided to get a Lurcher that was a bit older and already trained. I've now got two and basically, ones right and the other has "issues" so I'm now looking to go down the route of a puppy and bringing it on myself with the one that's ok. People just don't get rid of good dogs! Get a puppy mate, I think most of it is common sense and if your stuck with anything, there's always THL
  16. Looks a cracking dog that mate. Just watched your videos on YouTube . Certainly seems to know [BANNED TEXT] she's doing!!! Atb
