  1. Thanks, I've figured that pal. I'm just not sure how to go about doing so. Like I said she's three now, and whilst I know she is willing to learn, it's just not going to be as easy as if she was only three months. Thanks, Adam
  2. I use same as you mate. Whatever they catch gets minced and mixed with gain 28. At the minute though, the bitch is mainly just on the gain with meat every now and again because most of the meat is going in to the pup.
  3. Well this is mainly dog food, that's why I can cope with her being hard mouthed. It's the not releasing that I want to try and correct more than anything pal
  4. Hi lads, This is honey my 3 yr old bull/whippet x collie/grey. The trouble is she's really hard mouthed on the first few rabbits she catches. This isn't so bad if I get good numbers because after the first few there fine and not a mark on them but if I only get a couple there knackered. Also when she does catch, she just clamps down and doesn't want to let go. Now this is the thing that's starting to get on my nerves a bit as she doesn't seem to be getting any better with it. So I was wondering if you can get them to be a bit softer in the mouth, although I could really put up with this i
  5. Something that's going to be a "good all rounder!!!" Ha
  6. Haha cheers lads. Andy I've just looked under the tape as when u said that, I did wonder if that's maybe why the tape was put on, to cover up rust but it's fine really, there's just a tiny mark on the barrel and the silencer is fine, just bits of glue from the tape.
  7. I wouldn't bother sending it back to bsa pal. My scorpion was the same (I'm sure it's the same mag) I just took the magazine apart, it's only one screw, and just wind the spring another turn and put it back together. You'll see what I mean when you open it up. It's easy enough and mines always been fine since! Adam
  8. Sorry pal, didn't realise. £300 Ono then. Also comes with bag and pellets. Nice try monty! ?
  9. Hi, was just wondering what the actual reason is for leaving them til there a certain age. I know you are supposed to but don't know the reason. What's the damage it can do? Cheers lads, Adam
  10. Theoben evolution in .177 Has just been serviced and is shooting at 11.7 with aa pellets. Good condition, just has a couple of minor little marks as I have tried to show in the photos Not sure of the value so open to sensible offers although will be looking in to it. Pm me if interested. Thanks for looking. Adam
  11. Is 130 quid not a bit expensive for an older in that condition or is it about right? I've got a 77 that's a bit rough but just needs blueing, I didn't think it was worth that much or are the 80s better? Adam
  12. Same with me pal, if anybody was about, they would have wanted me to shoot the small ones aswell but seeing as there wasn't and I don't have ferrets, I try to leave them because they would be wasted as far as I was concerned
  13. I believe you, I've seen those too! Ha
  14. Well if you gave the link to where it said contact advertiser I could of done but it's just a link to the photos mate.
  15. Yes mate unfortunately they were but they don't want any rabbits at all, as I said they have horses and the rabbits are a nuisance. Regards Adam
  16. Hi mate, I think the r10 is definitely a better gun as new. I've never shot one but have held them and they are really nice. For what they cost, they surely can't shoot bad. I have a scorpion and when I got it, I thought it was garbage. However, the scorpion has now been to xtx and been serviced and fitted with a regulator. I can honestly say it is now one of the best guns I've ever owned. Accuracy is excellent. Altogether that cost around 200 pound with postage to and from xtx on top of the price of the gun. I think that brings it to around the same price as an r10 that hasn't been touched
  17. Was bored the other night so decided to go out with the air rifle to a couple of my mates fields. They have horses so just basically want rid of the rabbits. As I got there, I saw a few run off and in to their holes, anyway I crept up to the wall bordering the next field, popped my head up and there was one sitting there right at the other side of the field, probably about 55 yards away. Half a mil dot over and it just fell short, luckily the rabbit never moved so just raised it slightly and next one slotted it right in the side of its head and it just dropped right where it was. So collect
  18. Well mystery solved, she ate them! My mrs took her for a walk earlier while i was at work and she has confirmed the dog ate the skins!
  19. Well when I fed her this morning she took ages to eat it when normally she wolfs it down! Cheers lads as long as I know it's nowt to worry about, I was just unsure about it digesting properly
  20. Thanks mate. I wouldn't have expected her to eat four full skins though. I take it this is perfectly safe and normal then???
  21. Morning everyone. As the title says really! I left some rabbit skins outside last nite and this morning they've vanished. They were in the back garden with the dog. I wouldn't have expected her to eat just the skins as she doesn't really show an interest in them when the chase is over and there dead. She's already had two of the neighbours cats, so can't see cats taking them while the dog was there and she's shown an interest in foxes so I wouldn't have expected those to get in and out without the dog having them either! I'm totally baffled! Thanks in advance for any suggestions Adam
  22. Tape worm eggs? What does it do to the rabbit then because if I hadent seen that sack, I wouldn't have even known there was anything wrong with it. To be honest mate, It will prob be goin in the freezer anyway, seem to be well stocked up on meat for the dogs at the minute! Thanks for the replies
  23. I keep seeing this more and more often for some reason. Went out earlier and got four rabbits, two of which had this. It's a sack of fluid with what looks like some sort of eggs. I've noticed it a few times now and it can be anywhere on the rabbit. I've seen it on the meat, under the skin and even totally inside the meat. What I want to know is, what is it and is it harmful to the dogs as I nearly missed this tonight and if I has missed it, the dogs would be eating it. I know common sense says don't give it to the dogs but it was just in case it gets missed
  24. It's easier, bit warmer, bit drier and they won't get those air max as dirty!!!
