  3. Cheers nuttzhunter I hope so it done my head in that last night I walked him today and took the decoy with us I gave him 3/4 goes on it and he was sound so give him a couple of days and I'll take him out again I'll let youz know how he is

Hi lads and lasses just a quick question I was out for a quick scan on the fields tonight close to home I went on the first field and seen a squatter so walked towards it and my 10 month collie greyhound ran down towards it cased it and caught it great but on the retrieve he walked around me and stoped and mouthed the rabbit didn't kill it just mouthed it a bit he normaly brings them strait back to me alive right away he's only had 7 rabbits in total I've only had him on the lamp 4times as he's still young I was just wondering if this could be a start of him not retrieving I've done loads of t

  6. Cheers kemperz21 how will I stop him from kicking off in the crate or going sick every day I got up he was head to toe in it that's why I gave up on it it's not pooing in the kitchen at night it's just the day time and I let it out all the time ?

Cheers I might try the paper but how will I get hi to stop pooing on the paper or in the house iv tryed crate training him for the first 4 night he was in on but he was being sick and pooing and crying in it all night as soon as I let him stay in the kitchen he stoped crying/pooing/sick h for the last 2 nights he hasn't pooed or weed in the kitchen it's just the day time every time he gets up or goes the the kitchen I let it out and praze him 99% of the time he dose his stuff and come in then maybe he will wee in the hall way a short Time after
  8. Other than that he is a cracking dog listens to all my commands and learning verry quick iv had lurchers growing up but never had a pup before

Hi I have a 3/4 grey 1/4 collie hancock lurcher he is 13 weeks old.and I have had hi a week I know I carnt expect miracles in a week but I let him out in the yard and her goes for a wee/poo no problem but he still wees in the kitchen and on the carpet about 3/4 times a day and poos by the back dore. Some times I bring him in firing the yard and he will do it I take him on a walk and he is fine dose his stuff when he comes home and a hour or so later he will might wee in the hall/kitchen iv watched him eat his poo as well in the yard or the house wots this about ? Any help would be much appreci

Brilliant read I'm defo getting these books.i was wondering how old to start mine on the lamp but now I know it depends on the dog mine is 13 weeks old and iv been told to walk him 5 min for every month of age he is ( true or false) I don't lent him run mad or go running with him just let him walk at his own pace iv got him retreving now as well

  12. Cracking looking dog mate iv go a 3/4 grey 1/4 collie hancock sird by Merlin over the moon with him he's 13 weeks now and iv got him sitting stay and retrieving carnt wait to see how he turns out on the lamp next year ( can any one tell me how to put a pic up on here ? )

  14. Cheers mate he's not crying or kicking off when I put him in there just sick when I go in in the morning. I put the cage in the kitchen last night and left the dore open on the cage he didn't go sick just pooed on the floor once witch wasn't so bad I don't mined it not being locked in the cage I just don't want it chewing the furniture or belongings and want to house train it any tip will be appreciated

Hi iv just got a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie hancock lurcher it's now 12 weeks old and we are keeping it as a house dog but I will be doing a bit of lamping with him iv been told the best thing to do is crait train him so every night I put him in it and when I get up he has been sick ans weed in it we are on day 3 now and would like some sugestens please iv have lurcher all my life but never had a pup so new to this cheers
