  1. Hi any one selling a pair of working ferrets or working stock iv got to Jill's at the min but after a couple more
  2. I agree with you there one that don't stick for long will do the job but it's left a dead rabbit to ground so pointless to me these road bank are small humped banks full of granet and soil normally a granet wall with a soil bank on top so that's the reason we aren't allowed to dig them
  3. A smaller ferret will fined it harder kill to ground. I just want the thing to bolt them. yes maybe. we do have to dig them out some times but not as much as a larger ferrets some people might disagree but we all work different
  4. I'm after a small working hob to breed off and use at road sides we use small ferrets for road hedges so we don't need to dig any thing out that's all I want a extra small ferret for horses for courses as they say
  5. Hi any one selling a greyhound hob or a small hob must be working stock
  6. Call around to all Animal rescue around your way and if they have a hob there it will be sniped get that for then most rescue places snip or spayed ferrets before rehoming to stop people breeding loads of them mate

Hi lads I'm looking on getting another pair of ferrets iv got two Jill's at the min but I'm looking for a small hob and maybe another Jill I live in the channel island and there is only 4 of us on the islands with ferrets so there all from the same blood line real I'm driving back to Liverpool and Manchester next week so was hoping to get a pair of working stock wile I'm back to breed off and work any one know of some willing to pay good money for the right ones ?
  8. First light just because I like do do anything from 2-4 hours ferreting then get home and do somthing with the family but somtimes we go for a hour about 1 just to bolt for the dogs I'm lucky to be surrounded by all are permission the bonus of living on a small island

  14. Cheers lads I'm going to start from basics on his retrieving give it a few weeks and take him out iv been told by a couple of experienced lads to do this cheers some good advice there lads thanks I'll keep use informed how he's getting on

Hi iv got a 13month quarter collie greyhound ( hancock) lurcher had he's been great with all commands and retrieving like to hand (lamping) but last week I was out ferreting with my mate and he got his first daytime rabbit he got it and didn't seem to want to give it to me he just stood about 20ft away and I had to wAlk to get it I thought that's strange so last night I went lamping he got his first rabbit a long slip and brought it about 12ft away from me strange again rabbit two was a verry long slip he had a chance on his hands but gut it any way but ran across the field with it away from
