I am not a fan of the fox as I have lost too many birds over the years but no animal should suffer like that.....

+1 - I got a three gun and now needt to upgrade as I have three new guns on the way.... all with scopes.

Welcome to the mad house, where in cambs are you.??? I live and work close to Papworth Everard but all my shooting is in and around the family farm near Burwell.

I use fibre for all game shooting as most shoots now insist on them. I also use GAMEBORE CLEAR PIGEON in 32g no. 6 with fibre and to be honest there is no difference. You think there is when you miss but it is all in the head......

Hang on.... I use shooting sticks with my HW97 and they are padded with foam and work really well. The sticks came with a padded V so I added another layer in the form of some camo cloth and so far they are working really well.

I purchased the parts from Chambers and watched a few YOUTUBE videos and did it myself. Really easy and will save you a lot of money. I put new seals in mine, de-lubed the spring then put a new spring in and it was like a new gun.......
