  3. So I just got permission to go shoot at my local golf club were I happen to also be a member. Seemed to be quite up there one the first night, arrived at 8 PM and spent 10 minutes or so getting my air rifle all set up and fitting my Tactical Red Lamp to my scope. Met with the owner who was delighted he had someone to take care of the rabbits and other pests that were destroying the fences and greens. So i asked for some intell on what holes seem to have issues and was told that hole 17, witch the green is elevated above the fairway had seen rabbits borrowing underneath the green and was there

  8. Thought I'd Show my new and first Airgun i ever brought Just fitted a Tactical Red Lamping Light to it to Webly .20 VMX 12 ft /lb Swiss Arms 4x32 Scope Had issues with the light being mounted on top of the scope it would seem no matter were i had it, it would cause red shine on the scope and i would not be able to see a picture so i ended up fitting it to my muzzle. What you think?
  9. Hah builth just as dead, I prefer dod lol. Builth alright but everyone down there is kinda up themselves but youll find that one out, but if you live in between then you wont really notice the trouble i suppose, thats why i live the side of llandrindod i do the other side is rough. Builth is good mostly but there a few characters down there if you know what i mean.
  10. Ha it aint like that here mate its full of chavs, we are know as the heroin capital of wales, well certain parts of town that is. best thing to do is what me and my mrs do and thats keep yourself to yourself and watch what you tell people as over here they shit on you as fast as look at you. I been up here 3 years but lived near here all my life and in those 3 years there is only one person i can call a trusted friend lol. I am sure youll be fine though
  11. Good points but thats when you get over the basics and start to get a feel for each rifle and caliber as you go, In my personal experience with shooting SA80's (5.56) and LSW (Light Support Weapon) in the British army these are the most basic starting points for someone who has never held or shot a rifle before or who has not got very good groups. This was just a way of helping those learning to shoot to start to get a feel for there weapon and then of course they would start to find there own grip and comfort for there shooting and groups to be nice and tight. So yeah to put it simple the abo

  17. Anyone got a good way of judging distance to target in YRDS, Im so used to meters that i seem to be misjudging my range to target?
  18. Do not know if this is even useful for any of you, you seem like seasoned shooters, but those that are new to hunting or competition shooting the below is the basic marksmanship principles that are taught in the UK Army and will greatly increase your accuracy on target if applied correctly. These very simple things got me to the point that i tryout for the Bisley shooting competition in the Army Cadet Force when i was like 14 (Before I Did My Year In The Army, Before Getting Medically Discharged ) Marksmanship Principles a. The Position and hold must be firm enough to support the
  19. hmm... nice thought, look into it, the guy who sold me my tac-light said to take a 35mm camera film canister and cut the end off and then put that on the end of the light it should focus the beam down and make it a lot nicer to use, but i dunno! Just brought my BASC membership
  20. Think ill have issues with red beam, reason i got one was red doesnt seem to spoke no matter how close i get
  21. Great reads from what i can see from a quick scim im about to pop out for a afternoon walk and shoot so ill read them when im back, but from what i can see from above something like this seems to be idle http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HSF-MONOPOD-SHOOTING-STICK-/380370233185?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item588fd52761 ???
  22. I have just finished kitting my air rifle out with '4x32 swiss' arms scope and a 'Red Beam Hunting Lamp' tactical light that is mounted on top of my scope. I am have good success with this at the moment, but i am looking to do some rat shooting up at a local chicken farm. My plan is to get into a elevated hide above were the rats tend to be and spend a few hours there. The owners already had someone up there with his airgun and he had built a hide but ended up being sacked for shooting a chicken or something, i am not to sure on the details. So i would be after a bipod for by Webley .20 VMX ai
  23. Yeah its great, put a 4x32 scope on it and brought on of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Red-Beam-Hunting-Lamp-Kit-Ideal-for-Air-Rifles-Rimfire-/200973330897?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item2ecaf1a9d1 and got it mounted on top of the scope, Pretty much made it a night sight, the scope seems to suck some of the red light in and helps to show the cross hairs, made it very good for night rabbit hunting. Only bad point i would have is the stock is hollow and acts like a megaphone for the working parts and can be a little loud on the ears in certain terrain and tend
