I had a little jill about 8 maybe 10 years ago, had the same probs as you describe. I never found out what it was. I took the ferret to the vets in the last stages of her life and they said it looked like gastro. I doubt the diognosis as it didnt show all the gastro symtoms i know. We brought it indoors overnight. My wife sat up and tried her hardest to aid the poor thing, it died ! Ear mites ? now that sort of makes sense to me. Because yea it will affect the balance. I have never had it in my cages sinse... Hope we dont get this to often..... let me know if anyone has a deffo answ

yea Me too Bud...I use frontline "pump bottle" I have heard and know other methods used by mates..... Some use Dura-mitex....pigeon lice liquid, you dilute it with water...it works but smells like a dead dog ferret for ages...LOL Dog/cat flea shampoo watered down and sprayed on to ferret... Nouvan top airasol. The second you put a wet ferret back in its cage they burrow under the sawdust and run round to dry there self.......Anyways What am I waffling on for ? use frontline mate..it works great. Hello again Every 1. Once this DVD is complete on Rabbit snaring. Must say it is very informative so far...LOL We will be moving on to compiling a Fox snaring DVD. Like the Rabbit snaring one it will show everything from making the snare from scratch , setting the snares and then seeing how they work. We will keep you all updated on the matter. I am presently editing the files and compiling the Disc, The final result will be worth the short wait. The time is taken by the Copyright I have put on the DVD's. I am just waiting for reply's to give me the go ahead to retail them. The DVD

Hello every 1. Just letting you know we are working on Woodga's Snaring DVD. It is a complete informative film, it shows everything the rabbit snarer will need to know from making wires from "scratch" ( every stage ) . We then go on to setting the snares in the field and then move onto the catch. It is very informative and explains every thing you will want to know about rabbit snaring. Thanks mate. I have had my fair share of Springers & Cockers. Please don't think "I am blowing my own trumpet". But I have a quite a good knowledge of Training Gundogs. If anyone has a Problem with there dog , feel free to PM me and I will try my best to give some decent advice. Woodga. Get yourself in this competition mate. they oviously dont know you......LOL There was only 1 bloke that could have competed with woodga around here and he stopped snaring & trapping 4 years ago. ( You know who I mean woodga ) I will have a bet if [NO TEXT TALK] wants ! Please believe me when I say this.....seeing is believing ! He knows his stuff. Hi Mate. Yea Sprockers...LOL You may laugh but there is more of them about than people would like to admit. They stand out a mile...well you know what I mean. Some "pro trialers" seem to put the springers on the cockers and reg them as cockers...Tell lies about daddy...LOL Maybe they cant get on with the cockers nature, or maybe some Springer men cant train the cockers the same so they chuck a bit springer in the line . The action is a give away with a lot of them....mind you they will never tell you it has happened...LOL But overall there is nothing wrong with a sprocker...I know lads

Hello Bud. Yea I agree fully with you when you say " I never give to kids, mind...couldn't bear the thought of one of my beasties being kept in a box under some sprogs bed " I feel the same. Ferrets are quite common here as well, but maybe its just me. I think they take a bit looking after, ( Cleaning out twice a day, feeding etc ) they should be the price what I want for mine. I am not a fanatic on breeding , I am breeding these 2 jills cos I want a couple of good hobs to bring on otherwise I wouldnt bother.
