  1. Ignoring those who 'must' carry on; is anyone still working there ferrets or has everyone pretty much knocked it on the head now?
  2. Only ever used the horrific Bisley nets till the second 1/2 of the season and now dread running out of spun poly and laying the nylon ones...

  4. Ejector? If I remember those baikals aren't folders, which is a shame as that's what I'm after...
  5. Infected ferret bite. Keep it clean and monitor.
  6. That's similar to what I do whilst I ferret proof the garden
  7. good point; and no you're not. Use a natural anti-bac like tea tree oil?
  8. Yeah in the winter; I get home from work on late shifts and there's no lighting by mine; so I use a head torch...
  9. iv been using ANTI PARASITE SPOT ON RABBIT GUINEA PIG FERRETS IVERMECTIN WORMER LICE FLEAS is that any good That's fine (ivermectin is the active ingredient) ignore the instructions; and treat 1x week for 3 weeks to beat any mite infestation. Then revert to 1x month for a preventative measure. I do 1x Fipronil every payday and 1x ivermectin 2 weeks later every month.
  10. Whilst you can only get frontline from the vets; you can get a Bob Martin flea treatment in supermarkets which is cheaper and identical (contains 50ug Fipronil) there is however a cheaper flea 'repellant' sold by bob Martin that is about as much use a chocolate teapot, so read the back...

  15. Yeah my only concern is a poor workman can then blame his tools..... I'll have a crack at it... Is there a technique to consistent shooting?
  16. I have watched the fantastic videos and read the how to guide by BPR and like the idea of trying to make a catapult; however having not used one before I want to buy a catapult that is good to go; capable of hunting with. As I get the hang of revised marksmanship principles with a catapult; I'll look at making my own. So if anyone has a catapult good to go with band set they want to sell; let me know.... Nick
  17. As I said i feed Rabbit, Winter Months, a weeks time i will go on to a Ferret complete, especially when there are flies about,i know a lot of you feed raw all year round, nothing wrong with that, but this is my way, and they do well on it. Theres nowt wrong with ferret complete. Exactly..
  18. Ruggers I was looking at getting a catapault; too; don't know if I'll be able to get my marksmanship skills to transfer over..anyway, but any pigeon/rabbit I catch/shoot ends up on the table in any event; the ferrets don't get a look in; are you not interested in feeding yourself with your skill.. Ruggers; ferrets have a really fast metabolism; so it may just be that you're not 'used' to ferrets and how they are.... Post a pic of your ferret and I'm sure everyone will say he looks healthy; but get him company, the cost and effort of looking after 2 is minimally more than 1
  19. £56.50 near me in Herts... http://emilyorkate.vpweb.co.uk/ferrets
  20. Ruggers; you haven't got the fresh food to feed them so just buy a complete ferret food and relax!
  21. No delswal taking it to a gunsmith does not answer my questions of 'what's causing this' It's like saying; "my car battery is dead, is it the battery, the alternator or something else?" And you replying "take it to a mechanic"
  22. So Rimmer; nothing can be done?
  23. Brand new cartridges... Delswal; that's less than helpful, it's not exactly problem solving the issue...
