    A point blank shot is fine as the projectile is already at its optimum speed. Shot placement is more important depending on the tool used. thought so thanks for clearing up mate just reading through the thread and was curious just in general thats all

    interesting thread lads was just out of curiosity would a point black shot be less powerful as would not have long to pick up energy as it would obviously reach impact instant? im guessing not as a chrono would calculate the power and they are registered from pretty much same distance?

    agree very intersting thread i got my first air rifle when i was 12 a webley vulcan open sights followed by a webley excel, until my nan and grandad for my 16th bought me a weirauch 85k what a game changer, great fun used to hop my back garden wall onto the marsh then through the seven fields all the way to shorne fort walking back the road way as it was pitch black with a few rabbits over my shoulder no gun slip, no probs. just the barrell quarter broke when stopped by the police on the road on many occasions was offered a lift home by them i would return the favour with sharing my bag with t

    yes would have to agree with the ultrafire very light and surprisingly bright my kids got it for me for crimbo and immediatly ordered another one to fit my other gun there are uk sellers but a bit more pricier...

    hello mate whats ya budget i do alot of laptop repairs and sure ive got a couple lying around with a cracked screen which you could get repaired quite cheap. if ya go for a tablet do a bit of research before committing as some of the cheaper ones are quite sluggish due to a small RAM

    oh no why do people just not read a few posts or the introduction before they commit social suicide im a member of a few shooting forums and see this same thing going on time and time again mate do your self a favour do some research build a respectable relationship with other shooters and like minded people and then just hope the opportunity arises your only getting blasted time and time again get some business cards made up offering free pest control pop em in doors, in cafes around country sides and yes knock doors until your hands are red raw the worst they can say is no and thats gonna go

    i also use google maps to scan my area youd be surprised how many farms barns stables etc are tucked away right on your doorstep, law of averages will eventually reward your efforts just be positive and polite, i knocked one door the other day to receive a mouthful of abuse apparently the owner loves everything living and even feeds the rats lol

    hi mate i agree with the above just be polite expect many many knockbacks dont take your gun or dress as rambo> and would highly recommend getting cover by basc or something along them lines you can also get 250 business cards printed at vistaprint for very cheap theyre easy to knock up just offer free pest control and ya insured etc all the best mate hope this helps. ps if you sigh up to vistaprint make ya card but dont check out or pay within a couple of days there be hounding you with offers at a fraction of the price you were originally quoted
