  3. Have a shoot at N.Wales shooting school, Its £5 for 2 hours. Cheap pellets as well mate.
  4. Welcome mate, you will get good advice here.
  5. Its all about your own preference as the build and quality on the s410 HW100 and R10 are spectacular. Theres not much between them and Ive tried them all (lucky me). For my type of shooting I chose the R10. on the simple fact that it suited my needs better. See if you can try and buy then decide
  6. If you have a look through this section you will find 90% plus is people asking for permission, and each and every one who posts is told somewhere along the line that this is a hunting site so no-one is going to offer it, yet still they ask. Put yourself in the position of someone who has land to shoot on, would you tell a person who has posted just a couple of times on here that they were welcome on your land? If you would you wont keep it long that I promise you. Why not try to participate in the forums and get to know people, I've made one or two good friends over the years on here who I g
  7. Good luck with your request. I put a post on here asking the same and got a load of abusive 'go knocking on doors messages' I shoot at NWSS with a BSA R10 MK2 .22. Im knocking on doors here mate and if I get a permission I'll let you know.
  8. This is the most polite response I have seen. People looking for a permision do ask on here but usually get a load of abusive messages, which I find is contradictory, selfish, and most unfriendly. So well done!!!!
  9. Jeez a month!! I'm biting at the bit after a week!! Sometimes sooner! You poor guy!! When will the NHS have their own ranges? I'd complain lol
  10. The Wales Game & Country Fair will include British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) Gundog Competitions; Hound Parades, Long Netting & Decoy Calling demonstrations. There is also a mini countryside arena, which gives people an opportunity to talk to experts and get hands-on experience in many aspects of country leisure pursuits including ferret displays; Terrier & Lurcher shows on Sunday, a Hounds Display & Parade, plus Wales’ very own Terry Large with a static and flying display of falcons.
  11. My R10 MK2 loves rats, especially with .22 Bisley Mags. The energy transfere is ...BOOM!... My theory is, if you want to kill something you dont throw a pebble at it, you reach for a rock. Works for me.
  12. Guess your eyes didn't get affected then
  13. http://www.countryfairs.info/bodpress.html 31st May - 1st June. Bodelwyddan Castle, St. Asaph, N.Wales. Always a good show. A good show to support!!
  14. I'd definately go for the bottle route. A pump will cost around £100 - £150. A 3ltr bottle will cost you about £150. The advantage is not just the ease of filling, more reliability. Pumps do break. A number of retailers and shooting ranges I visit have stopped selling pumps as they have returned so many and now only sell bottles. The advantage also with a bottle is that you know you are getting clean air and nothings worse than dirty air in a rifle as this will cause internal corrosion over time which will render your gun useless. Filling a bottle only costs around a fiver and you will get lot
