  1. Trent is bouncing with Zander, how edible is this fish????
  2. You cant be far from me Steve, Im at Fishlake. R old boy said he had seen them in Moss, Ive not seen them yet but wont be long.
  3. Thought you were taking the piss but when I checked pics thats the extension I did, only a small single storey utility and WC but oak skirting that I need to put through rest of house now, literally only bit of decent skirting in house
  4. R old boy got me onto this and its bloody lovely. He is old school and in his words 'only black bush he would go near'. On offer on amazon 1litre bottle for 31quid last week.
  5. Been having a few fish from my pond but got it. In the freezer now for the taxidermist....
  6. Harewood house was one of original release areas. Bouncing with them round there now. I have a mate in Leeds who's neighbour feeds them, looks like that place in Wales where they do it. Literally 20-30kites swooping in taking the food off shed roof.
  7. What do you use to stick the cups to the underside of the shelf Juke? Looks bang on that.
  8. and do some hunting..... https://www.(!64.56:886/share/v/1AEH5WiURj/ He loves plinking but with the shite weather today was first chance in ages.
  9. Yeah thats the plan, grow in it for 6m then let the pigs clear it up again. I just need to decide what veg will work in the space then move when I have the pigs to suit. I definitely want it to be productive inbetween pigs.
  10. Well the 2025 pigs have gone. Took them in Monday and collected the produce yesterday. Didnt go for chops this time wanted mainly sausage and bacon. 24 joints 60lb Sausage 40lb bacon joints, currently curing These have much less fat on them than previous ones. Could be the breed (Brittish sadle back X Pietrain) or could be that we managed feed better, or a combination of both. Now I need a plan for the pig pen in-between. Going to grow veg in there, just need to decide what.
  11. Just a sarnie this morning before heading out fishing......wish I hadnt bothered with the fishing! Bacon, sausage, double duck egg
  12. Shop bought.....but by this time next week I should be stocked up with home grown sausage and bacon again
  13. Having our Xmas dinner today as we are traveling to visit family tomorrow. Roast turkey and Pork Joint ....both homegrown at Meadowview
  14. Amateur butchery and dressing but the Xmas turkey has been dealt with.....
