  1. seems to be doing really well flying free now and coming into the lure well, likes to have a little wander but not to far. had a good flight the other day at a bird which was good to see, so seems as though its confidence is growing. Sure noisey will give you a bit better info than me when he comes on. JDF

  4. Was going to put this in the dogs health section but thought i would try here first. My 2 patterdales one rough coated and the other smooth, seem to be doing a lot of scratching at the moment not to sure if its just the heat or nettle rash etc. Dogs diets - Dry complete working food / and Raw meat ( rabbit venison pigeon breast etc) They are nibbling at there legs a little bit and also the tail area, and are starting to show signs of what i would say look like midgie bites... I have checked the dogs time and time again and cant see anything on them , have disinfected the kennels o

  8. try making one mate all you need is a round peice of wood about 3 inch long cut it down the middle (length) and slightly file it out creating a small gap then tape a small section of cassette tape from one end to the other, then put the the two section of wood back togethor. Taping each end (electricians tape) easy to make 15 mins and free of charge the good thing is no same one sounds the same, some are sharper than others and some are raspier. used these for years with great success and its no hardship if you loose it out in the field. JDF
  9. It will look cracking when the caonpy is done and painted, would be good to see a picture when its done JDF
  10. Lovely looking conversion mate, regarding the ifor williams cover, paint it the same colour as the motor makes it look much better and a lot more modern. Heres mine i know its not the same colour as the body but certainly looks better than being its natural colour and also blends in better in the feild JDF
  11. Phone the police mate, thats what i do on the land i keeper. Tell you what if you keep phoning they will soon do something about it, there is a disused quarry on my land and the motorbike lads think they can just come on no problem, saying we arent causing any harm. but dont realise and dont seem to care that this land is privately owned. Had Six bikes confiscated and crushed this year by the police so they are doing a great job for me. even had the copper chopper scrambled yesterday due to bikers being on the land again and upsetting people on horses on the public bridleways. ended up con
  12. both for me, think the terriers just beat the lamp option, guess thats why i have terriers. but i would say they are both completely different ways of doing a job and both very satisfying JDF
  13. have a look at the Insa Turbo range of tyres same tread patterns as the BFG but cheaper and do just a good a job, I am currently running the Sahara model on my 90 they do the business in the heavy stuff, a little noisey on road but you will get that with all mud pluggers. insa turbo sahara JDF
  14. Sorry to here about the dog, Its a difficult one, in my opinion i dont like dogs getting operated on due to athritis, the dog never being the same again etc, but one thing is that the dog is young and if strong enough it would hopefully fully recover if you took the operation route. Alternatively rest the dog up as much as possible keeping it on its lead at all times if possible. but i aint no Vet. All the best JDF

  19. Check the law mate, that would be the first thing to do, for all this seems an innocent act to carry out pretty certain its a criminal offence, it may seem a bit daft but sure it is. All it takes is a nosey neighbour to shop you to the police. Sure i read recently of someone getting a £1200.00 fine for doing this. (passage taken from the basc website) It is also against the law, in England and Wales, to fire an air rifle within 50 feet of the centre of a highway if this results in someone being injured, interrupted or endangered. These offences could be committed, for example, when so
