Well thats pretty self explanatory mate. Obviously not gonna put the pup in the kennel with her after that.???Its been a week, they've seen each other enough and tbh i value other peoples opinions on this situation way above a young kids lol. Well after the pup waking up howling and screaming the house down for 20 mins every hour or 2 last night i decided enough was enough. I took them both out to a field thats very secure and doesn't get any dogs in and walked them together. They kept there distance for most of it but the bitch even made a playful jump towards the pup. So i took them back, fed them both and have put them in the kennel.

The dam was out of snipe the sister to jims dog ern, Meg i think its called. Yeh im just gonna go through the motions slowly, shes getting there though. Think a few walks and they'll be fine.

Tbh i havent measured him, little taller than i would of liked tbh, really hoping he doesnt go any taller. And yes fox dropper i hope so too. Only time will tell i guess.

I hope so, sooner the better really as the buggers still waking up in the night howling. Thing is i dont like taking a pup out not jabbed up, he had his 1st one today though. I know of a place where no other dogs go so might whip them both up there couple times this week.

I know right, ive brought the pup back in for the night. Will get them out again tomorrow... She cant sulk forever lol

Lol it was a hell of alot less trouble... She never batted a eyelid when i brought that home and plonked her in the kennel.

Brought the bitch in again tonight...nailed the pup again....this is going to be very long winded

Right well the pups 7 weeks old so im ringing the vets now to get booked in for jabs so i can get then out together asap. I will just get them out in the garden with each other up until then.

Thing is the pup did absolutely nothing, i just popped him down in sleeping bit and she had a growl straight away.... And then continued in the house. Its totally out of character for this dog. She even lets other dogs come up and eat her food if they finish theres 1st. She just backs straight dowm... Very bizzare why shes suddenly being like this.

Right cheers for the comments, so get them out togther... Thing is when do i know its safe to kennel them together? This has caught me totally of guard... Shes never been like this, with any dog or pup so why this one??

Well thats pretty self explanatory mate. Obviously not gonna put the pup in the kennel with her after that. But i now need to think about the next step... Will she come round as the pup gets abit older... I cant keep then pup indoors as i already have a terrier indoors. Its ok for short term but certainly not long term.

Got a 7 week old pup, had him indoors for 3 days and tonight decided to move him into the kennel. I put him in and the bitch 4 yr collie whippet grey growled at him... I picked him up and brought them both indoors, the bitch growled and then went for the pup. Shes never been like this with any other dog and has been kenneled with other dogs before. I really dont know what to do. Any ideas?

I truly is worrying, so muppet was on there they other day and posted a photo of what could only of been a beddy whippet... He was asking what people thought it was and that he was told it was a dh x gh!!! When someone told the fella it wasnt he strated going off his nut on about shooting the dog. 3 days later its up for sale on a beddy x page. Full of complete wasters mate.. Although im sure theres a few good ones that keep theyre mouths shut on there.

I would say try sourcing a pup from on here from someone who's dogs are working regular. At least you can read about there dogs and days out etc. Good luck in your search. Im looking everywhere really pal... Probably not the best time of year to be sourcing a pup from workers tbh. Che
