She's been well socialised, and when I say giving it loads I mean running around chasing/play fighting she just bottles it with my mates little beddy whippet but will constantly play bite and run with my older bitch. She's still very immature and very much still a pup, the older dogs grabbed a bunny the other night whilst out mooching and were playing the ol tug of war with it she wasn't interested, I took it off them and threw it for the pup....not really interested again, she mouthed it picked it up but that's about it. I'm just putting it down to she hasn't clicked yet, different dogs take

Aww mate I know, and she is very immature still and won't be starting her this season, might let her have a run on couple rabbits at the end of season but there's no need for me to rush her as I have one doing the job already so slowly slowly. And as for the comments about me wanting her dog aggressive not at one point did I say I want her to be dog aggressive that's the last bloody thing I want for Christ sake what a stupid thing to say.....just the balls not to run off from a jack Russell's bark from someone's garden when she can't even see the dog lol

So I bit the bullet and bought a bull cross, lovely looking bitch and does what she told easily trainable does what I want. BUT now 9 months old still scared off everything ! I've just let the 2 of them out the back gate as I've had a few beers tonight and haven't taken them out. Anyhow out the back of me is a green with houses backing on to it, there running around pudding arsing about, at jack Russell barks the pup shits itself and runs back into the house ! Lol my older collie x bitch is just stood there looking at the house as if to say "what's that all about" ? This pup is not impressing

I reply to both of you I suppose it could be, I'm going to take a trip to vets see what they say, her coat just doesn't seem great either, quite dull and wirey. Someone said it maybe down to too much protein so I moved her off raw and onto gain 20 for last couple weeks but don't seem to be making much difference

I'm also having problems with my pups coat, 1st come out with bald patch now scabby bits her and a lump. Gonna go vet tomorrow I think

I posted a month or so back about my lurcher pup had a bald patch appear, well the hair has just started to grow back on there but whilst stripping some hair out of her a min ago I noticed she has like scabby/dead crusty skin you can scratch off under her coat and also a lump on her lower neck like a large spot...?? She seems fine but I can't get my head around it, gonna have to take her to vets I think.

Get a bag of gain 20 from lawsons animal feeds and a load of beef mince and fire that into her 2 times a day mate and some scrambled eggs made with goats milk in the morning., she'll soon whack the weight on.

There's always loads of rabbits about this time of year, but when the season starts the number has usually halved ! That mixi is a b*****d, completely wiped out one of my bits a few years back, I've just been up there last few weeks and seen about 15-20 gonna leave it again this winter and hopefully the season after will be back to its best nearly. Fingers crossed
