  1. I've got a jimny and it is cracking for lamping and a bit of green laning. I took seats out put some galvanised behind the front seats and ply the back out with some carpet. Fits my 23 tts collie x and 26tts bull x with ease they can lay down nicely. And there nippy little things. Plus it's cam chain no belt! Not bad on petrol either. There's only 2 seats yeah but it's normally only myself and a mate lamping anyhow so does me.
  2. I had a whippet with tiny bit of grey in it once, dog had acceleration and pace to burn and could turn like nothing I've ever seen before. I must of let that dog on over 100 rabbits before I finally have up and rehomed it to a pet home. It stuck to bunny's like no dog I've ever seen but would never strike. I was gutted because I do believe that dog could have been the best I would ever had had or seen of it would of stuck. Never did understand why it never. It used to bush like a spaniel too
  3. Yeah had to walk with the wind behind me as the snow was that bad it was just smashing us in the face. I said to my mate we must be absolutely mental lamping in this lol better than sitting indoors I suppose.
  4. That's me after 8 pints of cider on a Saturday night lol
  5. It's arctic conditions out there! Was out last night lamping whilst it was belting down with snow in 20 mile an hour winds! Couldn't feel my fingers, dogs can forget it tonight lol.even the rabbits stay indoors in this rubbish lol
  6. Ever had experience with dogs chasing bunny's but pulling up on fox? Ie chasing it but then pulling up and coming back to you? On its first fox I was ment to say. Just a discussion I was having with a friend.
  7. Well managed 3 poxy bunny's, mainly because we were trying to get my mates 3/4 whippet 1/4beddy some bunny's. Have it all the easy ones that my dog would of scopped up but it just yapped and missed. The dogs 3 yr old nearly and it's fecking useless, it yaps on every rabbit and misses nearly every rabbit, yet he gets all pissy when I laugh after it misses, saying Im being too hard on the dog lol its shit! The only reason he still has it is because his Mrs won't let him part with it. Does my head In as we could of had at least another 4-5 bunny's. He defends the dog like nothing on earth, last n
  8. Lol think better option would be to tell the parents to sort their kids out. They have probably come back to yours because of the fact you came out. Never smashed anyone's windows but playing knock down ginger was always more fun on the homes of the people who'd get angry. Find out who the parents are and send the bill for the window their way and let em know next time charges will be pressed. I can understand kids doing knock out ginger I used to do it myself. You ain't doing no harm knocking ppls doors but breaking fence panels and smashing windows is fecking ridiculous! 60 quid on fence pan
  9. Exactly the same way I see it, It was done after 10 last night if not after 11 when I was asleep because I heard nothing. If kids, that age are out wandering the streets at,that time of night it says alot about the parents
  10. They range between 14-16 id say, and no I have no idea. I should't of gone after them but was so pissed off.
  11. ALast year I had the car broken into 3times, the side fence kicked in by kids, and few weeks back a stone lobbed at the window. Now this isn't just directed at me as I've seen them smashing other people's fences.anyhow I lost my rag the last time chased them and since then I've had a few stones lobbed at the window, but this morning I came down to my living room window (big doubled glazed) smashed. I never heard them, anyhow I rang police to get crime reference number for insurance. They don't give a monkeys mind, even though I was told to "please contact us about anything that happens". And t
  12. I'm heading down somerset for few hours on the lamp tonight. Anyone else heading out? No moon but no wind really either so we'll have to see how it goes
  13. That jackie drakeford is full of complete shite! Never heard so much rubbish in my life until I read the first quarter of her book, understanding the working lurcher. Your best off not reading it, bang up on ebay mate they'll sell on there
  14. I've been thinking maybe I should buy a new oneas I've,had my Light force striker for about 8 years now. The beam is quite wide on it, how long you all keep your lamps before you get new one? Do you think they would have improved much over 8 yrs?
  15. Sounds like he has one to me, the fellas in Spain!
  16. Not a chance, the dog would have been in agony and dead by now. Yeah did think that last night, she wasn't in any pain what so ever. But I never thought she had just over done it. Her fitness has dropped the last few weeks due to work and me being ill so I'll build her up again. Cheers for the replys everyone
  17. She seems fine this morning, her normal self. I might of overdone it a little with her Last night I suppose. Christ I shit myself
  18. I just got back from lamping with the dog and went to get her out the back of the motor and she wouldn't stand up, I've had to carry her in the house and shes just led down not moving. She can move her legs and tries to sit up wagging her tail but can't. The out of hours vet rang and said to keep and eye on her breathing and take vets in the morning. She was sick a min ago. I'll be f****d if i know, shes indoors led on the rug with me next to her. Just gonna sleep down here tonight with her until morning I think.
  19. Lol you got some neck! You just described him exactly how alot of people see you ?
  20. I had a few messages regarding her but I'm not letting her go to just anyone, I want piece of mind that the dog goes to a good home. She's a cracker mate and have no doubts she won't make someone a good worker. Just a shame I can't keep her, hate getting rid of a dog. Done it once before and regretted it But this time I know I'm doing right by the dog.
