    5 months seems a bit young take your time and your have many more years of work with your dog start them to young and there nackerd before there 4 years old better to take a dog of that age to a park or similar and work on the dog returning to you as soon as the lamps turned off-retrieving dummies-and sitting and staying when you walk from his sight thing that are vital before you venture out lamping and also I think its best for a young dog when retrieving to be no where near another dog especially if the other dog is more dominant which is highly likely as yours is a young dog

    Hi all im new to this forum but been working dogs for almost 25 years, got hooked on running dogs when visiting famaly In Ireland as a teenager saw my uncles dog a beddy greyhound running day and night, Hitler was his name and all these years later I still havent owed or seen an alrouder as good as him when me uncle sold him to block in tipperary I was gutted that id never see him work again. Still live in hope of owning a dog as good as him one day
