  1. Would that be the EELC Club or the greyhound club? Greyhounds, the day in question was near six mile bottom.
  2. See one at the East of England coursing club, that turned his head on the track. He run the best of all the dogs on the day
  3. Or f####d there dogs up running them to early..
  4. Isn't that Irish comp starting in November Then the best of British can call the winner out.
  5. Put a Temazepan in a burger, it will take about 20 minutes to take affect. The dog will be unable to run and will struggle to walk. Just drop and retreat with a pair of binoculars. Job done. Happy Hunting P's before anyone goes of on one, we once had a dog that was prescribed them, by a vet, every firework night.
  6. All the cross' es have been the flavour of the month at one time or another. If your been in the game long enough. Bull crosses just seem to be the latest one's.
  7. The running style of the dogs, back in the day, seemed much more exciting than the dogs of today. Round my neck of the woods you wouldn't of seen any kills as the dog would be in the next county, by the time it takes most hare dogs of today. Most (NOT ALL) of the dogs on the net would struggle on small pend in fields. But as most comps are held on the fens, it's all about wind nowadays. But there's still quite a few dogs out there, doing there thing, without saluki blood in there make up. Happy Hunting.
  8. Put 10-20mg of Temazepan per dog in a piece of meat, and they will be slow/dozzy enough to catch. Good luck.
  9. Happy Days fella, let the games begin. Happy Hunting..
  10. I wouldn't mind one of these, if they wasn't so expensive lol.
  11. I respect my dogs to much to raise a hand to them, and thats why they would bust there guts for me IF i let them. But no cup, trophy, reputation, game or even most of the people I know are more important to me than my dogs..
  12. Sounds like he won't be a large dog. Being only 13" at 12 weeks, but that could be down to the s##t start to life he's had. But judging by the pictures and size he is, I guess he will be under 22". But only a guess. Get plenty of fatty red meat and some CA37 into him every day. Good luck.
  13. Know your ground, know your dog. Expecially with a dog with a high prey drive. Otherwise your dog will have a very short working lifes. Happy Hunting.
  14. Sounds like a great x for a bit of lamping/mooching, just keep on getting out with the dog, and showing it, its intended game. Good luck Happy Hunting
  15. I wait until they have been rolled, lovely and soft then, but lots of flint gets pulled to the surface, so never perfect. But no matter what's under foot that slip could always be it's last. Happy Hunting.
  16. How tall is he? Looks like his got a good chest on him, plenty of space between those front legs. Good luck with him, I'm shore he will do you proud. Happy Hunting
  17. Dogs have got fast digestive systems, BUT to be safe, always allow 7 hours before work. Fella on here lost his dog because of a twisted gut.
  18. I think there's an app On the new Iphone 5 that does the Same thing . As Seen on TV
  19. Many years ago, when them treadomitors first come out,i lent one off a mate and Stuck it In Me Willie on a night out lamping, and i Was really Saprised that We walk just over 10 Miles that night, So god knows what the dogs Covered.
  20. If a dog IS running at 25mph for 3.5 minutes it will cover l.5 miles. At 35mph for 3.5 minutes it will do about 2.2 miles. I think LOL Thats what it works out Mathematically and not all Courses are 3.5 minutes long, but If You was to use it as a ruff estimate, and say the dog might run five in an afternoon, it will cover about 7.5 miles.
  21. Every other night, when I was younger and keener.
