  1. The fella isn't bull###ting about wires and fishing line, I seen it myself before the ban. The same was said about salukis in the early 80'es, by deerhound/collie coursers how many of them (deer hound crosses) are about today on the fens. So I will save my judgement until I've seen one WORK. Happy Hunting with what ever dog you choose to run
  2. Ive got a Browning goretex hydro fleece cost about $400-£240 must be 10 years(when mossy oak first come out),still going strong, if you want to spend a few quid on a coat that's goino to last, have a look on the Bass pro Web site, even with the delivery charges you can save a fortune, especially on the (stalkers)sent lock stuff.
  3. Just get him out at first light somewhere that holds rabbits, the more open the better for a green dog.
  4. There be on some site in the UK, kept/bred for gambling.
  5. Some dogs need a helping hand.if you can take the dog ferreting and drop a few, or you put the squatters were you find fit when lamping, not something I enjoy but needs must sometimes. Good luck & Happy Hunting
  6. At 10 months, the dog has STILL got a lot of maturing to do mentally and physically give it time and the penny will drop. When mine are in doors before there injection, I get the loudest squeeky toy I can find, as well as a broom head and big soft toys that are awkward to carry, then after injections fur and feather. Happy Hunting

  14. Probably juveniles, get a big roll of plastic sheeting, and staple to the side which receives the most hits, this helps stop the attacks, I do the same in winter if the weather gets below -1 for long periods,it's best to leave one side free.
  15. Hard to find, can't understand why there's not more about. Good luck with your search.
  16. Never to windy, even when you have to walk at 45 degrees lol.
  17. We had a bitch that would sniff out a bit of chocolate anywhere, one Christmas she eat all the kids chocolate stockings and all the other chocolate that was out about £45 worth, didn't do her any harm, but the stuff with high cocoa content maybe would of had a different outcome.
  18. Some dogs let you know when they have had enough, but some that are mad for the game, can be very hard to gage. These dogs can burn more calories than what's in the tank. Just like us (well some of us lol) work to hard/burn to many calories and you can get the wobbles, sugar/glucose can stop this until you can get sufficient calories back in the tank. So a very small Mars bar was kept in the pocket just incase this happened.
  19. For years people liked big mules, but now smaller ones seem to be popular using Irish fancys.
  20. Bright/Deep yellow/lemon hens produce lovely mules or if you want blue mules, white.
  21. A cock bird is darker between the wings above the tail, another way if the blaze/top of wings are not prominent.
