  1. Has the last one gone? Or is it still available.
  2. Ligaments are very tricky things, to get fixed 100%, and need plenty of time and dedication. Good luck
  3. If you have an iPhone there's an app ( as seen on tv) I've used Garmon fish finders and found the GPS to be very good, also bye them on- line (dog locator) from America and they work out nearly half price.
  4. If its got a drainage tube, be careful it doesn't try to pull it out,and keep your eye out for infection.
  5. Was that after a gut full,or does he talk bollocks when he's sober also.
  6. What I was trying to say is, all dogs are different, live in different conditions as well as Hughley different workload,so give them a diet that suits that individual dog. No point giving a dog a high protein/fat diet if it's worked a couple of hours per week. Calories in calories out, it ant fecking rocket science
  7. Ftm go on YouTube and put in what ever bird song you want, canarys, goldfinches , linnets and play it to the birds. I do the same with my young mules (goldfinch all day).
  8. You really can tell with a lot of these replies, the people that have been around dogs all there lifes, and the stupid c####s, or had dogs five minutes. Spot on desertbred sound advise.
  9. If you are feeding raw??, lay of the red meat, and just give him white meat, chicken rabbit. If a dog is worked a lot or kept outside in cold conditions or highly strung,or maybe all three and more, a red meat diet(-20) would be recommended, but if they are worked lightly, only once or twice a week/live,sleep, in worm conditions then white meat with a lot less fat content, would be better, as they only need the extra fat if they are burning it of. But you have a much easier problem to solve, than a dog, that has trouble keeping the weight on. Happy Hunting
  10. Always have trouble selling Cock birds, no matter what time of year it is. But I find good breading hens hard to find.
  11. As already been said, a small gutting knife. Have you seen the video on you tube, of the fella squeezing them out, great if your perm is a long way from home, and it's still warm/flys about.
  12. If you have your dogs best interests at heat, fair play to ya, but the young lad must be gutted now he isn't getting the dog.. Let's hope you didn't get a pm offering money, and thats what change your mind. Hope the lad finds what his looking for.
  13. Should be ok, sometimes that's how the pup gets rid of some of the worms, not always just out the other end.
  14. Years ago when I had ferrets, the worst place we ferreted, was a sheep farm, the f###s were as big as baked beans.
  15. What ever you do don't bye the new Hunters they will not last(now made in china) a season.
  16. Home Bargins 8x4 ft £12.99 it's not plastic eather, the natives love it, they get tucked up in it of a night time in winter, they don't bother going into the shed, and come breading season I just put the nest pans in behind it.
  17. You can get sheets of acrylic 8x4 from 1mm up to 8mm, just screw them straight on, very clean and hygienic as well.
  18. You can bye a little gadget to remove ticks or get some white spirit and some cotton buds, dab whites spirit on the ticks, NOT the ferret, the ticks will drop off after a couple of minutes.
  19. Could of stuck aqua board to the brickwork and tiled straight onto the boards, makes for quicker/cheaper job, if walls are bad.
  20. A hare run in daylight, will run the same no matter what is in its belly or if it's morning, afternoon, or early evening. But a hare run at night is half the animal it is during the day, plenty of good Lamping dogs can take hare's on the lamp but really struggle daytime
  21. I've heard it's red hot now in Norfolk for long dogs
