  1. Just noticed there's a topic about them on BUSHING DOGS if you haven't already seen it
  2. The squeak toys are best you can get there attention when out of sight then a squaky and dog whistle then just the whistle,or even hand signals. The sky really is the limit when they are toy obsessive, and don't believe anyone that trys to tell you terriers are thick.
  3. Some dogs can eat more than others,hearts/offal, it can make some dogs loose, if it's the main ingredient, but like anything new, just add and up it gradually.
  4. Do you think it's got anything to do with being bottom of the ladder in the litter, and always having to put up with the teat that produces the least amount of milk leaving the pup some times not fully full. Once rescued a terrier, starved and full of mange, and it took month for him to realise he didn't need to bury/hide food, just never had his belly full on a daily basis before
  5. Let it heal first or it will never clear up, stoney, hard ground avoid until its completely healed.
  6. The differencentre can be a couple of hundred quid. Not having a go but the better the song the better the price.
  7. If his toy obsessive, you can use that to your advantage in any training he might need, even a dog of his age, and fare play to your son, for giving him a second chance Happy Hunting
  8. Fallow round my way, fecking thousands of them a least a couple a week being hit by cars,
  9. Superstitions, funny what people believed in, they also said if a hare run across the path of a pregnant woman the baby would be born with a "Hare's Lip" madness. But some people still salute a magpie or are happy /scared if a black cat crosses there path.
  10. If you get one DONT get a cheap one. If it's windy your fecked
  11. Mk3 cortina and a Parker got to be the 70 es early 80es, I bet his got monkey boots on. lol
  12. The biggest problem is when people snatch at there ferret kits, because of fear of being nipped. When young always let them smell the back of your hand and maybe a stroke or scratch before lifting them, once they know your sent problem solved, if they have been treated right. There will come a time, on many occasions, that you will have your arm up to the arm pit, down a hole, and have to push past the ferret to retrieve the rabbit, without fear of getting nipped.
  13. The same way you would lay a 3-4 ft on a run. Always have a good verify of nets, and I've found when using on run's or alike the dubble peg works better. Does anyone one here put a nail in the bottom ring.
  14. Some goldfinches song is far superior to others, that's why SOME PEOPLE, play cd to there young mules & goldfinches.
  15. His old enough for a trial to see how good he COULD be at that age you should be able to see if his going to be GOOD,BAD or just fecking ugly.
  16. Get a large tray and add watered down milk and let them both drink together on opposite sides, but one ferret at a time. Good luck.
  17. Give it a go, a lot of greyhound trainers use it (some tracks can make dogs very wristy) and if them tight fecks are using it, they MUST be getting results.
  18. Well the next time they meet, he will eather kill the pair of them or run for the hills. Good luck
  19. Use a mince beef that's % beef and 20% fat, with rice or pasta and you will see weight gain after a week.
  20. Nice looking pup, Looks like his got a lot of growing in them feet and knuckles.
