  2. How big is the lake ??? If only small dig it out fill it with large carp, get burger van or porta cabin for food. Depending on size and how many in the lake anything from £100.00 -1000.00 a season per person. If you need any fish give us a shout.
  3. It happens on most tracks in this country. Hold a dog up until there price drops, then all of a sudden, it wins by 5 lengths or more.
  4. That Iraqi knob does my head in.. If your not out to catch world record carp (90+) give the private lakes a miss, get a yearly rod licence about €60 and try hundreds of lakes and rivers available, most with fish bigger than you think.
  5. Everyone used to sharpen there knives on the doorstep of a Sunday years ago. Even if they had f##k all meat to carve you would pretend you had.lol
  6. Be a least twice the price over here, if your into all that or realtree/ Mossy oak, Google Pro Bass shop in USA, bought quite a lot from them over the years, even if by post still half the price, even if you pay inport tax.
  7. Late 70,es, a lot of 3/4 grey 1/4 sal about, as most said, anymore saluki made them to slow, wasn't until mid/ late 80'es that the 3/4 sal 1/4 grey started showing on big land/matches that they take some beating and 99% of dogs winning comps early 90'es most were 3/4 sal.
  8. Nice to hear of pet dogs UNDER control, quite a novelty round my local walks, lost count of how many times I've seen a Benson and his owner in hot pursuit up the woods screaming there heads off.
  9. If you have decided to go for a complete diet, Goggle, best complete for a working dogs. There are some good ones about, orijen is just one of many, but read what's in the ingredients, if any mention of cereals in the first two lines I would avoid it, and some well know expensive ones can be just as s##t as all the cheap ones. If I've ever had to use a complete always orijen, they do three different meats red, white, and fish. orijen red ingredients.txt
  10. Some bitches when worked hard won't come into season.
  11. Biggest mistake you will ever do is trying to make a name for yourself, because your have every lowlife around trying to have a go when your with your wife and kids, or when you won't a tair up the little c###s pull tommy out or stick a knife in your back. So be worned youngans it's great fun in your twentyS but becomes a chore when your not to far short of ya fiftys. .
  12. If you have greyhound in your lurcher (which most have) then you have bull breeds in your dog, maybe a long time ago, but bulldog was used, just like Staffordshire Bull terrier was used in whippets. Bull lurchers are the latest must haves, but if people are getting them for the right reasons all good. In the 70 es early 80'es it was the same with saluki crosses, some would say there shit and some would say the opposite, and look now how much they have improved the lurchers of today on some game. Like the saluki x it's not for everyone but that doesn't mean there not perfect f
  13. The boosters are a rip off,but puppy jabs are a must and maybe the first booster.
  14. His foot placement will change on that foot,so watch his pads, some dogs spread the load on the other three toes, some dogs on less so can put a lot of pressure on 1-2 toes. Seen a few dogs work just as well with three toes on a front foot, but can't coment on a rear toe removed. Hope all goes well.

Playing dead, I think kites do the same.
  16. I think the same fella, was reported to have shot 2 ragheads side by side at a record distance. But again reported by the Sun.
  17. Had a few of them over the years, mostly down to flint, has any if his toes dropped Gaffa. Hope he has a speedy recovery.
  18. Good high protein, but not a lot of fat in most of the meat,if you can, try to get the cheeks. same as with beef, the cheeks have a good fat content for hard work.
  19. it's should be injected into a certain muscle in the neck, they migrate when injected just under the skin and are not anchored, so to speak.
  20. put this up a few times before but might help someone.. Feeding_the_Racing_Greyhound.pdf GainGreyhoundNutritionSGV_2.pdf
  21. All dogs are different, some dogs (salukis) can look to SOME that there half starved and (bull) looking to heavy. It's just a case of knowing what's best for your dog. Some dogs when working hard don't need bigger portions, some do, and some just more fat added
  22. Sounds like someone could be on to a winner. it's not just fox diggers that would won't them, I would of loved a mini spade when I was underpinning, that you could buy of the shelf, we used metal shaft bulldogs cut a section out then welded back up
  23. Shame that, I was very pleased with my slip lead, and would of used you in future, always hard to get good leather work made to measure. As said above I would of paid £40 and still thought it cheap .
