    Depends how big your family is. If you have 5 kids and a wife, pointless catching hares and rabbits. Best dog I ever seen providing for a large family was a 1/4 alsatian 3/4 greyhound. Caught hundreds of fallow back in the day. But I think you will have trouble finding a good alsatian, probably better with a mal cross..

    Grey hound and race house trainers use supplement because their animals need it when worked hard most days. Most terriers aren't at best they would be out 3 or 4 times in a week working if they are lucky So your saying a greyhound running once a week is burning more calories and more stress to the body than a terrier thats been to ground....

    Sf50 is very good for growing pups lactating bitches or dogs that can get stressed/worked. You will get people saying,they dont need it if getting proper diet. So why do greyhound trainers use supplements as Well as racehorse trainers. All the old boys said bread and milk was fine how wrong was they.....

    When we were kids many moons ago,living in the lea valley we was always fishing the rivers. Find a nice deep marginal shelf, under over hanging tree or bush, and on the way any road kill we found would be thrown or tied to the spot, would get plenty maggot dropping for days baiting your spot even when not there, propper old school pre baitng...
