Ive only ever seen one heavliy bloodied saluki cross run (think both her parents were 3/4 saluki if i remember right) and f**k me that bitch could run!!! She was black and tan but smooth coated all over and i remember once we took her out over shropshire way and slipped her on a hare a fair distance away.....just to get up to the hare was some effort but to run it and catch they way she did was impressive to say the least i seen her run a good few times and every run she did well on....sometimes she looked as

Best daytime deer dog ive seen was saluki/grey x saluki/whippet back to a saluki/greyhound.....she was as good as any other ive seen a made a lad with collie crosses look rather silly when she blew one out on a hare, nailed it in a game crop, retrived it and was ready to go again while the collie cross still had its tongue out

    i can remember calling a fox in once and then just seen a white flash above me, looked up and there was a barn owl hovering there!!! If i never saw it tho id wouldnt of known it was there....makes you wonder how many times it does happen and you never see them.....

    I got bullied to f**k about being into dogs and the countryside as a kid used to get called weird for going lamping on a friday night while all the other lads were getting pissed over the park but i didnt give a f**k i remember once telling the group of lads i hung around with about running a hare on the lamp and one of them said he would come out....next thing i no 3 more had talked there self into coming aswell!!!
