Garden like that, with feeders out, that'll be a regular visitor, no doubt. Great sight.

Both sensational players and goal machines, but for me it would be Messi every day of the week.

Gutsy performance and what looked like a really hard night's work for Burns. Not sure what next for Ricky, but don't see him making any impact on the world light welter scene. Always thought Burns was never the greatest talent but a guy that grafted really hard and deserved everything he got out of the sport. Sad to hear he's got money troubles now. Hopefully he can get a few decent pay days before it's time to pack in. Would hate to see him having to carry on beyond his time just to pay the bills.

Can't see what all the fuss is about with Joshua and his opponents, or the hype that's gone with him so far. The guy's been pro for only about 18 months and has fought 12 times, including two experienced, albeit well past their best, British champs. Have the likes of Hughie Fury & Dillian Whyte really had a much harder run in their first dozen fights? Remember too that Joshua was a late starter to boxing, and had comparitively few amateur fights. Hearn stated last night that it's time to move him on a bit now. Johnson might not be a world beater but he's someone who's at least expected

Lost Bella my 18 month old Collie-Grey last night. She was the first lurcher I've kept in a few years, and the first since my kids arrived, so she wound up as much of a pet as she was a working dog. Broke her neck after taking a heavy tumble and had to be pts. Just finished her first season and was shaping up really well, and she'd matured a lot in just the last couple of months, so I had high hopes and was really looking forward to next season. Gutted doesn't even begin to describe how I feel. I've posted a few photos of her on here before but these will be the last. R.I.P Bella

Kenny Bayless announced as the referee for the fight. Getting close now...

CushtyJook, I agree that there's loads of hype around Joshua but only time will tell if it's justified. What makes you so sure he'll get found out when in with a 'puncher'? Not sure why you're getting so wound up with Johnson being his next opponent. It'll be his 12th pro fight in only his 2nd year in the pros. Johnson was Fury's 24th fight after 4 years a pro. I think Joshua will do what Chisora, Fury and even Klitschko couldn't, and stop Johnson. JMO

Flying Your Country's Flag Makes You A Simpleton And Casual Racist...

I remember this story.... and clearly the lad should have been served..., but I never found any more context to it at the time. There was no suggestion that his refusal was 'political', but an apparent misinterpretation of Co-op policy..., and may have come (and I can't find any link to anything now) from a previous criticism of Co-op serving alcohol to a police officer in uniform and which may have led to 'confusion'. The Co-op's response was .....“This was a genuine mistake on the part of our two members of staff, and has nothing to do with anyone’s ethnicity, religion or personal views. -

All in all it looks a good night of boxing. Maybe a bit of a liberty Sky making it PPV, but I suppose with so many belts on the card the boxers have got to get paid their dues. Brook v Gavin just looks to me like Hearn taking a safe option. Won't do anything to enhance Kell's reputation across the pond, or bring the holy grail of a 'unification' fight any closer to happening. Hope Kevin Mitchell does the business too.

Flying Your Country's Flag Makes You A Simpleton And Casual Racist...

It was apparently said during the 2006 world cup so it does seem like a bit of pre-election muck raking...., won't stop a few on here getting their hackles up though...., even it if is a bit late in the day. With my being Scottish my opinion won't count for much here but..., at the major football tournies when the English decorate their houses with the St George's cross, and every other car has one (or more) of those plastic flags sticking out the window, the last thing I think of is 'simpletons and/or casual racists'. Apart from my inevitable envy that Scotland aren't even in the compet -
Was Defoe overcome with emotion at the passion and atmosphere of SAFC support again this week? And has Thierry Henry ever seen anything like their dumbstruck silence and then mass desertion? Like I said earlier, my impression was that SAFC fans were among the worst & most fickle in England. I haven't changed my mind. What is it they say...., 'pride comes before a fall'.

Cheap dig? There's an election on and UKIP have got a porn star standing..., surely this is fair game? The problem with you people is that you love to dish it out, but you can't take it. -

...blah, blah blah..... The day I'm scared, physically or in any other sense, of the likes of impotent bed-wetting freak shows like you is a long way off Charlie boy. Its easy to play the big man and bander the insults around, from the comfort of your latest squat, I would love to see how brave you were stood toe to toe mr mole When it comes to throwing insults around I get more than I give..., not that I give a sh!t. You hate me because I call you out for what you are.., a fcukin fantasist. As far as toe to toe is concerned, if you and your THL bigot brothers ever do get off the weed and ge -
