  1. Here's a few pics of sticks , chopping /cheese/ serving /boards , bowls etc , and general other things to do with my woodland .
  2. She doesn't use antler dc , and I've only ever used antler on one stick , that I made as a rest for when I'm shooting. I'll start a thread rather than derail this one, and I'll post a few pics of things that we do at the woodland ?.
  3. This made me chuckle . I've got so many Woodland projects planned, that I'll need to live until I'm 130 years old ?.
  4. Woodland can be really relaxing , but , it can also be another full time job . It looks like you're doing a cracking job at your place . It's amazing how quickly Woodland regenerates . You blink and its changed. My Mrs is the main stick maker and leather worker ( she pyrographs the sticks) . I just carve the odd bowl , and make a few chopping/serving boards , and forge a viking knife(badly) when I'm in the mood. If you ever want a few , oak , rowan , Hazel, Holly, saplings . You're more than welcome to pop to my place and grab as many as you need ?.
  5. I did a knife making course at a guys woodland in Wales. He'd built his own cabin , with logs from his woodland ( he even forged his own 16" nails). The cabin was probably 15'x15' , and was absolutely stunning inside.
  6. You certainly do some graft in your woodland ?.
  7. It's very very unlikely, that you'll ever get permission to build a house on woodland ( it has been done though), but , Buying woodland isn't about building a house on it. You may get permission to , build a barn , build a tool store , build a shelter, build a composting toilet , and maybe even a log cabin. It's not actually permission, it's just permitted development regs. We have an old caravan on our woodland, that I would guess has been there since the 1980s . We gave it a refurb , inside and out , put in a solar panel and battery , and it's great ?.
  8. Nope , he'd be sat reading the news with a smug grin on his face , and messaging young women for naked pictures. I genuinely feel for people that have mental health issues, but in this instance, it appears that he's playing the mental health card , until the fuss dies down.
  9. On the face of it , it would appear that he isn't a nonce after all , he's just a dirty old man . It's nice of him to hide himself away from the shitstorm, and leave his Mrs to face it on her own. He might not be a criminal , but he's a piss poor excuse for a man.
  10. How funny would it be if a well established pride of lions turned up in a hidden valley in Wales, and neither of them was here to squabble like a pair of tarts over it ?.
  11. That's a proper plate of food ?
  12. That's almost art Arry ?.
  13. Just been thinking about this presenter business. Why aren't the police involved ? ?.
  14. I love my woodland. I'm happy to just sit on a log , and sharpen a stick ?.
  15. Fallow fillet . The burnt looking sprouts were roasted with parmesan , and were delicious.
