    To be honest mack , I reckon I could cope with living in the middle of nowhere, but I don't think my mrs would be too happy. On the other hand , I'd put off buying woodland for a few years , because I didn't think she'd like it ,but she loves it even more than I do.

    I can honestly say , it's been the very best car I've ever had . It just ticks all the boxes for me . I keep waiting for it to give up the ghost ( its done 180,000 ish), but it just keeps going. I'm really hoping that I can replace it with another one when it's gone.

    Had it been a bit bigger , I probably would have to be honest . I love log burners , but you can't just turn them off to cool down . I'd end up sitting on it in the dark

    My caravan was built before they had cars to tow them with , I think it's been sitting in the woodland for about 30 years. The regulator is the one that was with the caravan when I bought the woodland. I put a four ring gas hob in about five years ago , and that's been faultless , but , now that I know it could be an issue , I'll put a new regulator on there. The bottle is already chained up , I'd never thought about it falling over to be honest, it was purely for security, but now that I know that falling could be an issue, I'll make the chain a bit tighter .     From what information I can find , the bottles are different pressure, but the regulators do the job of letting out the correct pressure , and propane and butane operate at about the same pressure .

    That's something that I didn't realise , so if I do use a gas heater , I'll be putting in an extra vent

    This is sort of where I've arrived at . I've done as much research as my brain could cope with . I've gone around and around in circles , and come right back to what I already knew in the first place. I was just a bit worried about it , because I get pretty paranoid about gas .

    I did think about the caravan club , but then I realised that it was really just a swinging /wife swapping club , and you wouldn't swap my wife for a f***ing old pram .
